Here's how things pan out from here long term: You are not taking in consideration the global financial and economical meltdown! ... Have you checked the crop losses and delays from the weird weather that the Solar Minimum Ice Age is producing?? Your projection is just wishful thinking.

You are not taking in consideration the global financial and economical meltdown! ... Have you checked the crop losses and delays from the weird weather that the Solar Minimum Ice Age is producing?? Your projection is just wishful thinking. 1. The "global financial meltdown" is already happening. It's just going to result in more debt and more money printing - not these apocalyptic crashes that all the gold bugs are predicting. The central banks have too many ways to sterilise the excess currency now to avoid a 1929 type panic. Look at Japan - they've been in a "Weimar" situation for about 4 years now and they're doing just fine. Things just "mush down" into a mushy bed of QE driven "mush" 2. If I was engaging in "wishful thinking" I sure wouldn't be producing a chart like that. I'm long BTC. As a previous poster pointed out - it's a bullish chart, not a bearish one. 36 months is not that long a consolidation period considering the growth that's at hand.

Look, it's simple.
If your chart does not include a new ATH this year, what you have is a bearish chart.
You can't just say "wait 3-5 years for new ATH" and demand that people treat this as a bullish prediction.

Here's how the economic meltdown is working right now: Right now there is this huge amount of people surrounding you that are suffering and starving and homeless and nobody can help them. It's almost the whole population, actually. You are part of this privieldged elite that can actually live some resemblance of a normal life. You didn't realize your life was actually abnormal because the government and the tv did such a good job of brainwashing you that everything is going ok and all these other people are lazy crooks. Eventually one day these poor people are going to storm into your house with guns and that's when the economic meltdown will affect you. Look, it's simple.
If your chart does not include a new ATH this year, what you have is a bearish chart.
You can't just say "wait 3-5 years for new ATH" and demand that people treat this as a bullish prediction.
That's just being an irrational spoiled bitcoin brat. Any chart that ends in a price significantly higher than the current price, let alone especially one pointing to a new huge rally, is definitely technically bullish. You're like... 'oh noes I might have to wait an entire 3 YEARS to make my next 1,000% profit. It is supposed to be 3 months! This timeframe and making 1000% is so bearish. I want my lambo now!'. Yeah tell that to an investment professional in any other field and see how stupid it sounds. It's not bearish for bitcoin or for technical analysis. It's just bearish for your life personallly because you overplanned and overcommitted or something. (perhaps over leveraged)

This is what is great about bitcoin the large decentralized network is too difficult to be QE driven thats step 1 to get rid of secondly the multi tiered software and apps that can be implemented on this massive transparent blockchain is so powerful most cannot comprehend it ethereum, bcash any that come along cannot match the power of the decentralized nature of bitcoins blockchain

Are U REDYYYYY? We aree coming and we are coming in wavezzzz Adoption McAfee is right 2016 There was only me 2017 I know 10 people get in who did not before 2018 Another 30 wanting to get in but hesitant Adoption

One minute chart indicates a dump to $8750 followed by a market buy to $9500 on BFX. Yea I lost my position there. And shorted. And then had to close that. I think bitfinex should be considered a total and complete black market scam artist exhange. And honestly, people should go to their headquarters and physically hurt those people. I asked for a refund. I’m sure the scam artists too scammy for even China will simply delete my email or respond with some auto-bot response. Honestly if I was a whale i’d probably hire a PI and a hit man. I’d get revenge on these fukin gangsters. Dude. This is one of the biggest poker games on the planet. You sit down at this table you gotta understand what you are risking. Kinda sounds like you do not...

Adoption
McAfee is right
2016 There was only me
2017 I know 10 people get in who did not before
2018 Another 30 wanting to get in but hesitant
Adoption
I also vote for adoption. In 2013 I had my suspicions. I created threads asking "what if btc is a scam?" Held nothing till 2015. Then I started to collect free btc I got from here and there till 2016. In 2016 I made my first btc purchase with my hard-earned money. (It was like $100) Then I bought some more. Then I sold all, then I bought all back from a higher price. Still wasn't serious about holding till mid 2017 where the price doubled itself since 2013. Only then I became a believer. Now I'm a complete crypto freak who is going all-in. If that's not adoption, I don't know what is. Took 4 years for me to get what was going on.

Not convinced the Swiss want accept a nice offering presented on a silver plate. I say they want it as big as possible. He is the only one left standing. Five or Six where at beginning 3 American his Father and the front man, all bailed just he remains. The ico also happend with max coinage of 92 mil or so the limited edition is now ... We will find out how it will pan out, Liberty Dollar was in operation for 11 years.

On #1, I totally agree. I don't think we're going to see a catastrophic crash like we've seen in the past. The Fed and the CBs are too keen and aware of it all now.... they know that global banks are insolvent, and that we've hit the wall of global productivity and growth ROI. They'll likely just continue to tweak interest rates little by little...meanwhile we will continue to see a few "controlled demolitions" of certain sectors... first was the "Retail Apocalypse"... next will be a few minor banks and financial institutions to melt down and require a buyout takeover.... then some pension funds here and there will require bail-ins.... inflation will rise. If and when all else fails, back to ZIRP and more QE. Eventually entitlements will get whittled away and phased out. But it will all be a controlled bleeding out, not a major crash. And it would be bullish for Bitcoin over a longer stretch of time. On #2, I agree that would still be a decently bullish chart. Although my bet is still on that happening a little sooner, 2020-ish time frame.

i think this is an exact example of FAT finger. It could be a big sell put through badly even if reversing right away. If someone sells in completely the wrong place they will find an equal amount of buyers very quickly willing to take part. Anything can move shift the needle manually but it'll not stay there without reason, depends on the volume available that moment also. BTC can be like a Richter scale but theres still a trend in there. We're confirming past the late March selloff channel, thats bullish just to stay above. Also 50sma on 4hr bars seems to underline the rate of the rise roughly
