No sideways after all. A small Bart at least, so we wouldn't feel alone.

Everyone has been extremely bearish. Could be a bullish sign, as Theymos mentioned.
At any rate, I can't imagine us going below $3K.
LOL, I am pretty convinced this shit is going sub 1K. Years from now and it will be remembered as a scam of the century, it actually is, admit already that all you are waiting for here is just new bunch of idiots with student loans. No difference with 2014-2015, but this time it will never hit even 10K. What a waste of a Legendary account... We're not waiting for student loans, we're waiting for institutional money flowing into crypto, bro! See ya after a few years when the reserve of central banks will be measured in BTC instead of USD! In the future Many NOCOINERS Will be working for COINERS Future looking good No way, I'd like to hire smart people but nocoiners aren't smart at all... That's discriminating

It 's only going to go better when the current Casinostreet rotten air inflated bubble goes down in flames (it 's gonna smell terrible) and the stupid lambo fantasies evaporate. Even if it is only a symbol for, yeah for what actually?

Yep I also had to downgrade my lifestyle.
Me too tbh, I’ve lived a bit of a false life since last year when I cashed in all my free BCH. HODLING bitcoin is boring as fuck, having all that money but not being able to spend any of it. Fucking cock tease. It’ll all be worth it in a few years though. Same. The funny thing is that I haven't actually cashed out anything. I just looked at my wealth increasing "on paper" last year, and stepped things up accordingly. Ate at fancier restaurants, flew first class, etc. Now I'm back to Taco Bell and flying coach.

We are not low enough... yet. There is no sign of depression ... at all. Look at the optimism here reigning. If the bull continues here, it would be a 2013 repeat.

Sell high, buy low Bolded - Most commonly used quote in trading & not just crypto. People get burnt that way all the time. How many people sold at $2000 - $3000 last year thinking they were going to ‘sell high, buy low’.

agreed. someone in a country with high inflation or a corrupt/insane dictator will allocate to those categories differently than someone in a more or less stable country. or some place prone to natural disasters that could wipe out vast parts of the land or infrastructure. each one must assign a risk factor and try to allocate/adjust funds accordingly.
now, if i were single, i would have much more of my net worth in btc. but im married now and much more risk averse. single, i did take much higher risks as they only affected me, no problem.. im an idiot, know it, and paid the stupid tax when needed. married, i wont risk our comfortable retirement simply for more possible profit. thats not to say i wont take risks for more profit at all, but much smaller ones than previously. securing our future is the priority. and to me that means more diversification. and i dont mean alts (junk), i mean non crypto. even though that has far less potential dividends, plus has its share of downsides too. Nothing wrong with cashing out on the way up and securing your future. I don't think you need to be old or married to study that playbook either. While I think we're still heading to six-figures, the future isn't set in stone, and, after such fabulous percentage gains, diversifying into more traditional, lower-yielding assets is prudent imho.

I'm blessed.

which is easier to write: "lambo", or "fabulously obscenely stinkin filthy rich beyond your wildest dreams"? It's a symbol of the things that you always wanted as a kid, but never really had a chance to get. For myself, the Lambo dream is super cool, but once you try to fit in one you realize how completely stupid and impractical it is for anything remotely connected to an adult life. You could change your life and definition of "comfort" to MEET the Lambo, but then you're just trading one set of slave shackles for another. Blah. Better to try one on before you buy it, might wind up realizing it's not the thing for you....
