yeah yeah, i know honey badger and stuff... but there at least some similarities right now. No offense for the bulls , but you might consider this as a possibility Quite a few people have pointed that out, I've got a stash of fiat waiting just in case. Just one small piece of bad news around the 31st and we plunge. I know your chart shows a drop well before that but up until the 31st we are all on shaky ground, we have no chance of 'going to the moon' before that. After the 31st however is a completely different story.

Not that I enjoy quoting myself ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=397534.20) but to make the point: "Think about it. With less than two weeks until 31 January, don't you think that any sensible Chinese person wishing to throw in the towel and cash in would have already at least sold their Bitcoins? I mean, how long does it take to withdraw money from the exchanges over there? If it is anything like over “here” then usually 5-10 working days in the best cases. And with the apparent rush to withdraw, wouldn't a few prudent Chinese whales have dumped already to get to the front of the queue?" The 31 January is a smokescreen. People will wake up to that over the next few days.

edit2: you´re also usin the same info in your green shot analysis thread
Yeah but last time I did that analysis we moved up almost straight away! yeah i agree, that´s the whole purpose of this bot action, to trick people into buying or at least give a secure feelin. Last time there was enough motivation around to make it happen. Let´s see how it works this time. I have no i idea, but i´m kinda distracted by this kind of obvious market manipulation. Would you personally recommend to anyone of your friends to buy into BTC right now? Yes. Why? If Bitcoin will not be stopped or destroyed somehow, it won't matter if you bought at 600 or 800. I would say them it is the best gamble bet ever - you win nothing or in few years you will maybe become milionare. And now...you wrote it will be on stamp 400-500...you have balls to back it with 1 BTC bet (i already asked and you ignore it)or are you just another troll waiting to get on ignore lists? Can fonzie provide an example of an investment that is not "manipulated"? The DOW index has been pumped by the FED for the last handful of years at the expense of the treasury, and don't even start with bonds. Real Estate? Gold? What isn't manipulated? If bots doing microtrades is scary, stay away from every equity on any stock exchange. The high speed trading algos used there would burn MTGOX to the ground.

Realy, it sucks. Strong resistance upwards. Strong support downwards, resulting in tiny movements.
Finally the stability bitcoin needs to be used as a currency. LOL, keep in mind, some invoicing is NET 30. If we are still in this band for a couple 30 day periods in a row, we can call it stability. Even with the last few days, we have a beta that swamps any currency.

People will wake up to that over the next few days. Well, I agree with you, but the seed has been sown and most people are holding back fiat until that date is over. FUD or not, the community are jittery about that date. I'm not of the opinion that the Chinese are waiting until the last moment to cashout, it's more likely the Chinese government will use that date to clarify their position and close down Huobi's new corporate bank account, or some equally bad news. How we ever thought a country like China would allow their currency to flow out of the country as anonymously as btc I don't know. They have huge corruption scandals going on at the moment, they are trying to clean up their act in a public way and btc allows people to 'hide' funds from the government, they will not in a million years allow that to happen. I'm not scared that the Chinese people want out, they are gamblers and the bitcoin dream is a very hard one to break - I'm scared the Chinese government are gearing up to make it very difficult for them to trade. Which, like it or not, has a great bearing on how we feel about btc in the west.

This. I´m expectin to see serious dumps over the weekends as upwards manipulation hardly works anymore. So i guess we´re seein a harsh downards correction. Just my 5 Satoshi Edit: Gox buybot is in full maniac mode. Buyin 15-19 BTC of his own asksevery 4-5 minutes. I assume the real Gox Volume without bots and Mark´s orders would be about 50-100 BTC per day. Great to have a market leader like this....He bought about 20x times 16-18 BTC @ 917,6x however these asks can´t be seen in the orderbook.... They don´t even try to hide it properly anymore, truly saturated behaviour. In which strange parallel universe did mtgox become "market leader" again? * People need to wrap their head around this new situation (well, not that new anymore), or they'll get left behind as they watch for market signals in the wrong place: Mtgox is now just one of several large exchanges. And actually, the way it looks right now, they're not even "primus inter pares", but more like "tertius inter pares". * yes, I know, chart above is missing Huobi.

O Market Pundits: is the volume low because the price is stable, or is the price stable because the volume is low?

Could I ask, did you create your account solely to come and spread FUD or do you have an ulterior motive that has not yet become apparent? 14 activity - there is huge chance he is going to post utter bullshit all the time

What is it that you don't understand about bitcoin? The other alternative is fiat. Enough said.
