I think he’s lost a lot of credibility to be honest. I don’t pay attention to much of what he says now. He said a bottom of 6/7k. He didn’t see 3k & it’s a massive difference to what actually happened.

As a general rule, the moment you are treated as an oracle is the moment you need to keep your predictions private.

You can do it, but it is still ilegal. They would need to prove it is you who is doing it though. One bill every so often and probably nothing will happen, but if a lot of "stamped" bills are coming from you and it gets detected you would be into serious problems. Or maybe not... as even if the law exists it has never got to trial even once (at least in Spain).

Don't know where you live, but checked for the Euro notes, and it is definitely not illegal.
Hell some banks/store even use a special pen to write on it to check the note is not counterfeited.

This is not necessarily true. In the UK destroying is perfectly fine, but defacing notes is punishable.

This is not necessarily true. In the UK destroying is perfectly fine, but defacing notes is punishable.

Looke it up for germany. It seems to be fully legal, as the Euro banknotes are your possession (not the central banks) but if you destroy it "mutwillig" (malicous?) it looses it's value and does not have to be accepted by the bank or anyone anymore.
Maybe defacing is o.k. in Germany as there is no Queens face affected 

But i think no one cares about that at the moment (unless it would become some kind of mass phenomena  )

We could use fluorescent color for writing or printing bitcoin propaganda on the notes.
Euro notes have fluorescent elements and are checked regularly with UV-light in stores etc.
The writing would only appear when checked but it would always be there and work in a subliminal way to the money-unconsciousness of the society while no one can make you responsible for the  "malicous" reasons ("how could i know this banknote is full of bitcoin propaganda")
