I recognise that I am currently being biased by my actual circumstances, which are far from ideal to increase my risk stake. Otherwise I would probably be acting very differently. I need to be extremely cautious right now, even if that means I am giving up to some potential (yet risky) profits. Again, a mans gotta do what a man's gotta do.
Lot´s of hodlers feel that way I think and it is refelcted in the charts: bears somewhat exhausted, but bulls still a bit shellshocked from the November dive. Even hodlers that would want to even go down with a sinking ship had to consider to sell in order to not go down completely in real life. Yes, real life can be a bitch sometimes. I can afford not to sell any of my stash, but to put more money into it in my current circumstances would be reckless. YMMV. |

I was about to post that too but a search sow me you had already done that a few pages back! Well... seems like the Bitcoin's price will be pumped for a few days, I read many positive articles which ... being posted either naturally or forcefully to create a FOMO. I'm not expecting any crazy bullruns though, not until there are "only" ominous news and most quick-fortune seekers sell their bags and Bitcoin is again owned by few. |

Why doesn't anyone seem know that the B is supposed to have a 13.8888888888888... degree tilt to it?! I mean if you're going to promote something you should know something about it shouldn't you? That sticker is tilting in the wrong direction and could possibly represent beecash. This sort of thing saddens me. I do not think that people who do not know what bitcoin will remember the angle of its slope. But they will remember the symbol for sure. That's exactly what Roger Ver is banking on. He has co-opted Bitcoin, owns the Bitcoin.com domain uses the bitcoin symbol same colour but different angle... even has a Badger wallet for beecash. Honey Badger dont give a fuck but I dont like it. Forget the whole angle thing. Roger Ver does not own a particular angle. It is all bullshit. But if Roger Ver was not making this particular attack, then someone else would be. The fact that we are hovering near $4000 while many people are still waiting to buy at $3000-$3300, $2800, $2500, $2000 and even lower is... Fine.
Of course it doesn't mean we can't have another lower bottom.
Just saying... but I don't know what I say. Mind you.

...for some folks to be suggesting that BTC hodler/accumulators have to engage in a certain kind of behavior such as mining or node running in order to either be full-fledged bitcoin citizen or a prudent bitcoin actor.
you can be a prudent bitcoin actor by holding btc. you cannot be a bitcoin citizen (which votes) without mining and/or node running. extending your analogy a bit, those who simply hodl could be compared to US green card holders: basically all (or almost all) rights, but NO voting rights. You are wrong. You can vote with your feet. If you don't like something you can dump all the coins. |
