TECH INVESTMENT CYCLE

It's an insiders game.

From founders to accredited angel investors...

Then to the VCs, the institutional money...

...and finally after the first 1000x has already happened, the public get to invest.

BITCOIN INVESTMENT CYCLE

The founders were the cypherpunks.

The angel money was from drugs and libertarians.

Then came the general public.

Institutional money comes last.

The rules of investment (or lack thereof) favoured the public.

Welcome to Bitcoin. 1000x for the public

"fraudulent airdrop" wtf? its the SV you have to claim on a fork

No different than BTC. Any legacy (pre-fork) UTXO can be simply spent to the SV chain, just as simply as it can to the BTC chain.

Or did you not know that already?

Whichever chain the earliest client operates on is the original, others are airdrops, do i have to spell everything out for you? What's the earliest client that will still work on BSV chain? For some reason i never got any BSVs, oh that's right cause i didn't have any bcash. Maybe he meant that bcash was an airdrop, in which case we can at least agree on something

Well, if you had HAD any BTC on 2017 Aug 01, you would have been able to claim BCH on those same addresses. Still can, if you haven't moved those coins since. Even still able to claim SV, should that be the case. So if you never received any, that's on you.

And yes, you can simply spend those UTXOs to BCH and/or SV, just as easily as you can spend them to new SegWit addresses.

I did have BTC on 2017 Aug 01, and still have some that haven't moved since then, yet i don't have a single BSV

Yes you do. The funny thing is that you've not yet realized them. Note there are several definitions for 'realized' here which are applicable.

Huh i might've "realized" BSV?!? Mind telling me when BSV was forked?

'Zackly. You consequently also have 5 BCH, 5 SV, 5 BTG, ... whether you realize it or not.

If I can not immediately sell the shitcoins I have for bitcoins I do have nothing. That's the truth whether you realize it or not.

I really like the auto-scaling feature of charts...

When we go sideways it auto-scales to a few $$/div. and it all looks so rough and jagged, almost like a sawtooth pattern. And when the big dildos come and the scaling jumps to several $$$/div., it all becomes so silky-smooth... Isn't it cute?

I find watching a 5 min. BTC chart so relaxing... Almost therapeutic.

I know, I'm weird...

Pseudo revolutions or not it can be argued ( it depends on your ideological stand). And I am not a well-versed reader. But as far as I understand, during that time USA's main focus was Japan-economic competitor ( Read Toshiba's backlash). You are welcome to correct me here.

"Ideological stand" is irrelevant. If a revolution is funded and organized from outside this definitely is a foreign intervention coup disguised as "democratic" revolution.

Politely disagree on " Ideological stand is irrelevant" Every struggle-discussion starts because of this, even our back and fourth comments are based on it. otherwise you and me both wouldn't even bother to comment in the first place.

About "foreign intervention coup disguised as "democratic" revolution" In this struggle there was no such angle "democratic revolution" I repeat that this struggle didn't pop-up out of blue because Chinese students or people wanted to taste democracy, its half baked theory which every western media outlet-leaders served the western world through their fancy glass "so called perfect democracy".

And everyone in Western world debate on only this point. doesn't matter if you are in favour of USA or against it. for real reasons we have to dig time period of 1966-1989 and their series of event.

Quote
Japan is still occupied by the US. More than 3% of country's territory belong to the US military. The US army in Japan is bigger than the army of the natives in terms of men and weaponry. Occupied countries will be your economic competitors only to the extend you allow them to be your competitors. China is independent country. Japan is not. Neither is South Korea.

Agreed on this term but not on number game because I don't know exact numbers yet.

Quote
This is why US is waging war against Huawei and not against Toshiba or Samsung

Wrong, USA and China used to be friend back then. Only friends without any string attached. Media was very biased and 100% ignorant and situation is same in 2019.  I suggest you to read the article which I have already shared in my previous reply to your response. sharing again.

1. Today the US Is Waging a War on Huawei. In 1987 It Was Japan’s Toshiba

Quote
Toshiba was the hope of Japan’s science and technology industry, and also the hope and pillar of Japan’s manufacturing. After suffering a heavy blow from the United States, Toshiba went downhill thoroughly.

The U.S. attacked Toshiba not because it sold equipment to the Soviet Union, but because it affected U.S. interests. The United States believed that the Japanese semiconductor industry represented by Toshiba Group seriously threatened the economic interests of the United States, while the Japanese high-end manufacturing plan threatened the United States and challenged the technological hegemony of the United States

2. Japan Then, China Now: US Has a History of Scapegoating Others for Its Own Economic Self-Destruction

Quote
China is independent now because the inspired by CIA Tiananmen coup spectacularly failed

The People's Republic of China was founded as a country in 1949, "Tiananmen Square Protest" took place in 1989. It was spontaneous act built up and sparked due to " read death of Hu Yaobang " btw its not an single protest that happened during that period.

CIA didn't had much hand in it but supporting protester here and there, just like any other interested parties + giving passport to key protesters in the end.
and Just to let you know my point of view in this event are not mirror of VOA and Chinese didn't disclosed much info in this and addressing "Brainwashing young mind" will take more time, so let's save it from next time.

NOTE : We all are victims of our Bias.

Not worth it, aside from clonecoins at the peak and that ship has sailed. Any specific reason the people in charge don't put out wallets that make it easy to convert their shit to real coins, other than it not being worth it to them?

I did it right. I've sold Bitmain's bitcoin fork on time. I'm really grateful to Jihan and Ver for sharing their wealth with the bitcoin community and helping me increase my bitcoin stash 15%. The price of this fork and related derivative is currently so low in terms of bitcoins it doesn't pay for the effort.

I'm eagerly awaiting the next bitcoin fork. Anyone else besides Jihan, Ver, and Craig willing to share their wealth with me and the rest of the bitcoin community? Well, Craig is actually sharing Ayre's wealth but that is another story.

Upside break!
I like this market, because low volumes will more probably lead to an up break, while only a couple of months ago I was every time worried about it breaking down. I'm even thinking about opening some longs...

Well, this is putting the 100K party Vegas location in jeopardy.

I thought it was agreed that we wouldn't do the party in the US, for our various international friends who have problems stepping onto US soil ?

Canada in the summer is nice (British Columbia ?), although I think somewhere in Europe might be an alternative (Spain ? The Netherlands ? Belgium ? Someplace that has no trouble with English)

Mexico or anywhere South America are out of contention for security reasons.

I often find myself in the middle of customs wanting to puff my chest out at the nearest official body and scream 'I am a sock puppet produced from a tachyon condensate you idiot nocoiner!'
Thankfully I have been able to refrain myself so far and thus avoided potential incidents.  That is all.
Bitcoin has taken all the fun out of smuggling gold bars. Just smile while nocoiners try to detect crypto-keys with a metal detector.
