The halvening can't be priced in. If the halvening is priced in, is the next halvening priced in too? How about the next 25 halvenings? It's impossible to price in halvenings. The halvening is like a change in physics.

One imaginary merit for that, (saving my last real one for someone who really needs it.)

Yeah Shinkansen is sick! So quick and so smooth! And yes, Google Translate makes everything a breeze over there. The people are just amazing too, beautiful country. Pity about everything going down in ours at the moment, the fires are damned awful!

And it carried an astonishingly powerful message.

I am sure that when Bitcoin becomes the dominant world currency and Nostradamus is long forgotten, your message will still resonate and be revered for generations to come.

Happy NY gents!
The yearly candle closed at 7168 well above its January 1st 2019 opening at 3693.  With a AYH of 13,880 on June 1st and a AYL of 3322 on Jan 1st.
What a wild ride it's been. May 2020 be a year to remember.

So is anyone here planning to bag the first post of the new decade and are they carefully planning it?

I will abstain as mine would probably be 'bollocks' or 'fuck off'.

Whoever this is that posts this you need a memorable tag line, you can use below, as I won't be the one to post first in 2020 on WO.

but right now after all the angst and drama of 2019, it would be:

Bitcoin: You merciless Bitch! (tm Searing) Smiley

That pretty much sums up my sense of betrayal from 2019.

Brad

I feel so betrayed by 2019, too.

I only got about a 2x return in my bitcoin.  2019... you suck.. I deserved a 2.22222x return.    Angry Angry Angry

Got the artwork for my pin/cufflinks/etc based on XhomerX's design of my crest today.

I wanted it 15 mm high, but the smallest they could do was 19mm.
Some changes need to be done, the trigger must be attached to the crossbow and the scale is not perfect, and the frame should be protruding, not recessed.

Here's the final artwork

And below is another artist's rendering of the whole thing including helmet etc.

Here's the finished product, not happy with the trigger, will have to talk to the guys about that on monday.
Sorry about the bad photo, it's almost impossible to get a good photo with my mobile.

Since it's a new year and all I wish everybody (even makrospex )  A Happy New Year.
And since everybody loves cute cats, I'm posting a cat picture to go with that.

Come on WO,s I can still continue with this page.

Aaaalright:

Our Raclette Grill died today. After 20 seconds smoke came out and then the main fuse of the house blew.
After getting the lights on again, we had cold dishes (chopped) with white bread and patties and slices of sausage fried in the pan (meh).

Karma.

Nice photo Arriemoller, very expressive and with a lot of message.

If the genetics of humans carried some feline gene the world would go better.

I guess this is the decade we had been waiting for.

It’s going to be the 1920s all over again.

2020 will be a great year for Bitcoin.

Quote
Lots of people spent the year screaming about how bad Bitcoin is and how it is destined to fail.

Bitcoin didn’t care.

It was busy outperforming all other assets in 2019. 🤷🏽‍♂️ (h/t

Sadly my last year's prediction didn't come true (well it did partially). To remind you I predicted 10k by summer 2019 15k by fall and new ATH by the end of the year. BTC had a good pace and almost reached 15k (was it ~$14k?) earlier than predicted. Then is slowed down (fucking bears) and we didn't witness any ATH...
I'm a bit disappointed but this is just a temporary delay I believe... we're bound to see new ATH ($20k+) not later than Summer 2020. There is some chance to see new ATH earlier (in April-May) because of the halving as I'm sure it's not priced in. After that parabolic growth will start in August-September and we'll moon in December. Mark my words.  Cool
