Once you get to your 20th thousand post, with a bit of persistence right at the third halving, will you bundle them into a book? Or maybe even better a trilogy? Historians could study it for many years to come.

Shhh, you're out of order, even suggesting this, is enough to trigger an anger spiral of reboots.

I think Tuesday and wednesday will break 10k, theres a lot of fomo, news coverage etc. But what do i care, im just a HODDLER for life. I live my life satoshi by satoshi
That's why last week you sold all your BTC at $7,900 and were waiting for $7,800, but then you decided to buy back in at $9,400. It should all work out in the end, as long as you can actually figure out some of the basics, such as HODL, DCA and buying on dips... Of course, you can go beyond the basics, too, but best to figure out some of the basics before attempting to employ more advance tips.. just saying... Suddenly, I realized that even if BTC won't moon during my lifetime and I will die with my stash unused I won't regret it. I guess it's the highest level of HODL. Of course, if your death comes suddenly and unexpected then that would be a result that is within reasonable expectations; however, in my thinking there should be some desires to attempt to die with zero, or close to zero (of course, without over extending yourself in such a way that causes you to have to suffer in your old age). So, if you are really young, you might not have any kind of realistic timeline in terms of how your demise might go or even when it might begin, yet sometimes decently old people also error on the side of overpreparing for calamity, when they should likely attempt to spend some of their wealth while they are young enough to have energy to enjoy it.. For example, I would think that it does not do a whole hell of a lot of good to be able to buy 100 hookers per day when you are 85 years old if you are having performance issues that you would not have had in earlier years.

I wrote some long thesis papers in my earlier years, and I even had jobs that had required detailed (and sometimes extensive and lengthy discussions of various points). Surely focusing on something that is already done (such as posts) could allow for less deviation into too many topics, which has tended to be one of my real world writing struggles, especially when I ended up putting together larger pieces of work that had required the treatment of multiple themes of topics (so far unpublished)... In any event, you are correct with any kind of suggestion that sometimes there could be some value in ending up (or working towards) some tangible piece of work rather than just stringing together various threads of discussion within the interwebs. So thanks for that possible angle.

Must have been more than a week since I played Zaxxon from datasette (the cool guys run it from floppy nowadays) my buds and i wasted more time playing archon on the c64 than anything else i can remember doing from back in the day. wore out several joysticks just on that one game until i bought the Big Red Stick (i think that was the name) best game ever. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Archon:_The_Light_and_the_Darktime to fire up an emulator. maybe build an proper arcade cabinet. Ah, the screenshot rang a bell but was not into it much. Though I wasted half my youth in front of a C64, notably I never played again really after that. Regarding joystick killing, Decathlon was unbeatable in that regard. One afternoon with friends and the microswitches in the joystick were done for good. In retrospect it was a really stupid game, but great for competition between friends and perfect training for later in youth when similar hand movement without joystick started to prevail. I am just gonna leave this here for those who know what's what.

To my fellow UK citizens - TIGER KING VACCINES WHEN? :-D LOL When president commander in chief pardons him so he can create one or completely ends carol baskins. Whichever he decides to do first once out of there. That should conclude the made for television series starring Nicolas Cage as Joe. https://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-52544462https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bUwyWjj1kloThat's when! It's um... OVER 9000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wake us all up when it reaches over $10,000 hopefully when the halving is done, would you? Then we can throw a goku ultra instincts party because I think this thread has been all vegetaed out.

I am just gonna leave this here for those who know what's what. Wow, cAPSLOCK, your post has just fired some old memory neurons in my brain... Dungeon Master! I've spent countless hours on this game. High school, with a classmate and friend. On an Amiga 500. We were even making maps on paper for each level. We're talking hours of non-stop playing, we didn't eat or sleep until we were completely exhausted... I remember we used to eat those damned plant things in your screenshot, which upped our stamina/power/abilities. After we finished eating them, we went outside the room and slept (in-game) for some time and these things kept regenerating, so we could eat some more and gain more abilities. It was a way to raise your level. Also, the small squares with the symbols on top-right were for casting spells. Those graphics were breathtaking at the time, a truly immersive experience (IIRC, the Amiga had better graphics than your screenshot -- this is probably from a PC or other computer). Good times...
