I have no doubt BTC can go to 6 digits and eventually 7, but 300-400K this year ? It just doesn't compute, I'll believe it when I see it.

I'd like to take a moment and point out that in the last 24 hours Coinbase has seen 101,757 BTC worth of volume.

That's is pretty epic at these price levels.

Moment of silence for all of the weak hands we have lost in the last 48 hours.

But needing a crew is annoying so I'll probably keep things small, something like this :
My choice too, maybe a slightly longer one to reduce fuel cost and increase range. and way more solar. I'm involved in custom build aluminum catamarans and have seen several clients move to a smaller ship so they can kick most or all crew off the ship when the owner arrives. Also quite a few that sold their house to cross the globe permanently.

Looks like Honey Badger is crawling back out of it's hole after taking a short nap.  All of those walls it ate in the last couple weeks was bound to make it sleepy.

Magic 8-Ball says good chance we are all slightly less poor in the near future.

Nah, bears still testing support.

EDIT: Look at Gyrsur's TA posts. If you like to rely on TA, he's quite a sane source imho.
Also read good stuff by Biodom lately. I underestimated his analysis, which i retrospectively had to admit recently.
Buy/sell decisions* are on your own, however (like always).

This really needs a third panel, with something absolutely hideous, and label it BSV. I loaded a couple images up and was gonna try to put something together in Photoshop, but gotta be honest, I'm kinda working on other projects today, and, well... yeah.

On Kraken orders were limited to "limit post only", don't know what that means, I managed to execute one finally.
If I can guess: is that to prevent a micro crash from market orders?

That makes sense. But even regular limit orders weren't accepted, I had to go to the charts etc. and there is something to tick "Post Only" and that did the trick.

The rule prevents market orders, including limit sell orders which are above the current market price and thus operate as market orders.

They are trying to support a market with thin books.

That's some really scary shit, how six filthy rich people can control 90% of the online communication.

People on the extreme left are too stupid to realise that they are actively advocating that everyone just becomes a consumer in the end. There will not be a Twitter for the average user if this goes on, with the reason: "well words on the internet can be too dangerous". You will literally only have blue tick Twitter users and Grey tick YouTubers with comments switched off.

Consider that 20-25 years ago people started to go on the internet as it had alternative voices to media corporations - tv - newspapers etc. The internet is slowly turning into the thing that people got bored with. Perhaps people who grew up with the internet already there don't realise that?

I reckon with communication being that easily controlled by these cowards (cowards, because they all seem to act in tandem with big bans - deplatforming) I don't see how marginalising Bitcoin is impossible.

People are also blind to the 2 other main reasons why Big Tech and Wall Street want to shut Parler down:

1) Big Tech social media and MSM competitor (hundreds of millions would migrate from Twitter, FB, etc.)

2) Parler CEO has vowed that his company would never collect and sell user data to govt, alphabet soups, or Wall Street

The powers that be won't be having it.

Security researchers claim that the scrapped posts are linked to accounts that posted them, and some of the video and image data have geolocation information. That is said also to include data from Parler’s “Verified Citizens,” users of the network who verified their identity by uploading photographs of government-issued IDs, such as a driver’s license.

The data might prove valuable to law enforcement since many who participated in the riots deleted their posts and videos afterward. The data scrape includes deleted posts, meaning that Parler stored user data after users deleted it.

Leaked by "security researchers" sure. I wouldn't be surprised if we come to find it's leaked by some insider in AWS.

Well that doesn't surprise me at all.

I'm sure the head of cyber security over there at Parler.com is literally like some incompetent guy named "Bob", probably the CEO's brother or college buddy.

No offense to our Bob, of course.  Wink

I mean, why ask Parler CEO to sell their user data when you can just hack them and take it? Especially if he already turned them down?

Also this. Their AWS admins can easily access the databases and backups.

IDK if that is the case here, but some "leaks" are (stolen) data collections that refused to sell for the desired amount of money.

Bitcoin plunges more than 20% in three days. It's now in a bear market
New York (CNN Business)Bitcoin prices surged to a new all-time high of nearly $42,000 on Friday, only to plunge all the way back to about $31,000 Monday morning. That's a more than 20% drop -- which means bitcoin is now in a bear market, as bizarre as it sounds.

GREAT !!!
We're in a BEAR MARKET according to MSM.
You know what that means, right?

Also this. I mean they can easily touch the databases.

I’m not a system architect but expect it really depends on the setup.  If they are using Bring Your Own Key (which they should be...) then it’s all encrypted and AWS doesn’t have the key.

I'm looking at houses (before the boat) and since I basically want a field or a forest (or both) a septic tank is basically mandatory, when I have been told all my life that it's a nightmare...

Septic tanks are okay with tons of land ie 10 acres or more.

Built 2x over  spec

and put enzymes in 1 or 2 times a month.

wells are also okay if there is a lot of land and if you have a large space in your home to filter the water.

i was gonna mention over speccing the tank we replaced ours 8 or 9 years ago and ours is specced for two extra non existent bedrooms (bedrooms seems to be part of the size calculation) and a garbage disposal (another part of the size calculations) which we dont currently have. also we were told by the installer to never use additives. a properly set up tank should not need additives.

our well water treatment system is pretty big, 3 bigass tanks almost as tall as i am (ph adjuster, softener, and carbon) plus hydrogen peroxide injection, plus reverse osmosis for drinking water. so yeah takes a lot of room. in the basement

also, if you have a water softener or other water treatment system, use a drywell for the backwash. i think thats code anyway but our installer sees backwash going to the septic in a lot of installs.

Biggest issue for septic tanks = size matters.

The ability to do another one in 30 years. ie lots of land.

third enzymes are only important if your house hold uses a ton of bleach and antibatrical products as they can kill off the natural enzymes.

Firs two are really important.

the third is not important for many.

Over 70% of successful attacks are coming from "inside". So by probability, they hired the wrong guy, regardless of the details.

Means: By degenerate, poor working class, backcountry nazi tards, we're about to be thrown back some good 70 years again.
Only this time it's a different continent. Every culture seems to have to learn this awkward lesson, only to conclude that "this must never happen again in human history. ever."

EDIT: Forget that poor working class stuff, but those will be used to fulfill these megalomaniac goals.

Here's another MSM howler today.

Bitcoin and Tesla Have Gotten the Fed's Attention

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/bitcoin-tesla-gotten-feds-attention-182102654.html

Notice that the headline implies exactly what it says, that the Fed is discussing the Tesla and Bitcoin "bubbles".

But then the first line of the second paragraph into the article:

Quote
"Now, the central bank hasn’t said directly that it’s worried about the surging price of Tesla shares and Bitcoin, and it likely never will."

No shit? Lol

Wow!

I wasn't aware of Parler until the recent events. I'm not a social media fan, don't do Facebook, don't do Twitter, don't do Instagram. Don't do anything of this sort.

70 TB? This is a ton of data!

Reading the above quote just shows the intellectual and moral level of some of those American "patriots". I think many of them should probably be admitted to a psychiatric hospital for evaluation. The wiring in their brains seems seriously wrong. And the sad part for them is that Trump probably doesn't give a fuck about them...

They are just talking...in no way they will start tapering, and if they try, they will lose 20% on the stock market within weeks, if not faster.
Why any "bubbles" is their business anyway?

On the other hand, the "big short" Burry has been shorting TSLA for a while.
You all know the drill...at first he loses badly, maybe 30% down, but then he makes 500-1000%.
However, TSLA options are too expensive, and I would not short the underlying stock as you can get squeezed before long.
