If we brake 20k I start to worry. Never gone under previous cycle ATH before.
It has, we went down to $150 from $1200 top (previous ATH was $266)

I was (and am) planning to buy a significant amount at an amount that is within reach, but I'd never have thought that we'd actually get there again...
Well then.

It's related, but we tend to think that something strange is going on only in our little Bitcoin bubble

Hoooooo boy what a fucking rollercoaster! I'm not sure I need to say this here but I'm going to anyway. If anyone, ANYONE, feels like doing something silly like contemplating their life for some silly losses, please please please talk to someone or fucking message me or whatever. Just don't do something permanent for a temporary problem. Stay safe out there lads, it's a bloodbath today

So I left a comment on the BBC article today saying I don't believe the reported inflation figures at all (suppossedly less than 2% per annum they are indicating). Especially if we consider the increase in house prices (8% in the UK per annum). Council tax increases on average in the UK at 4.3% I also indicated locally you can see changes such as my barbers putting his prices with 25%. He has too. On top of that to pay for the pandemic we are left with tax bands that are not going to increase on year to year along with these false inflation numbers so you are only going to get poorer even if you get 5% ish pay increase (more than on average).
The typical imbecile replies:
- WeLl YoU cAn LoOk Up ThE fIgUrEs InStEaD oF mAkInG iLl InFoRmEd AsSuMpTiOns - WeLl I hAvE sPeNt LeSs DuRiNg ThE pAnDeMiC aNd NoW cUt My OwN hAiR
People have no clue. Things are going to get much, much worse.
Utter morons who can't see what is in front of them. 1.5% inflation?! GTFOH! Nearer 10x!
2012 I started selling small military related stuff, like patches, on my website. The standard domestic postage up to 20g was 6:- (:- = SEK) soon after the postage was raised to 7:- but the weight limit was also raised to 100g. Today, nine years later, the postage is 12:- still 100g weight limit. This is just one of many observations, a McD cheeseburger has recently gone up from 10:-, where it had been for ages, to 13:- and so on. We have an inflation that reminds me of my youth in the late 60s 70s and 80s when the yearly inflation would be around 10-15% (well, up to the 1992 crisis really).
