It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

This is what happens when your politicians need to make it look like your tax money is actually doing something, so that next year, they can justify spending more tax money.

No this is because their brother in law just started a stair company.

I ran for my town's water board precisely because when they needed to build an administration building the contract went to the water director's brother.

Our water company was a private co-op so the board is elected from home owners who then elect the director.

I lost as I knew nobody at the meeting but I came 2 votes shy of getting one of the four slots just by dressing well and I guess introducing myself well.

The Micro Cube Bass RX is exactly what I use with my little 23" scale Gold Tone Microbass:

It adds just enough bottom-end thump to make it sound like a stand-up bull fiddle. Sometimes I play with 3 acoustic guitars and maybe a banjo or mandolin and it gives me enough volume to be heard without drowning out the treble players.

Big box? Haven't used one since I got my first B-15. We were our own roadies back then and the Portaflex made life a lot easier. Not only that, it sounded much better than the big box monstrosities from Traynor, Fender, Marshall, Vox, etc.

My little GK is all I need now. Any larger venues and I simply DI.

heh reminds me of my kala ubass ukulele. its my goto bass for just messing around. full size has its place but when on the couch or whatever the ubass rules.

I remember when NFTs were called colored coins and nobody wanted any.

Was it the marketing or the timing?

I never liked ukulele basses, but this thing looks like it's a different league. Do the strings "stick" to the fingers like it happens with ukulele basses, or do they glide reasonably?

depends on the strings. you can get rubbery strings or more traditional wire wound strings (what my ubass has). each gives a different sound of course so it depends on what youre looking for as far as that goes.. and you do need a different nut for each type; the rubber strings are thicker. so swapping back and forth is a pain.

Rick works the stove and microwave. I work the grill.

No grilling involved yesterday...

I see. I've tried "normal" (el cheapo) rubber strings on ukuleles - not for me. I wonder if the stock strings on the microbass (rubber too, but with a fancy name) are any different.

Good morn Bitcoinland.
Forty-eight thousand dollars
(Bitcoinaverage).

Happy October.
Fourth quarter is upon us.
Let the good times roll.

I never had an Ampeg, but I do have a Roland Micro Cube Bass RX and a GK MBS III. No big box at the moment, though I'd like to get something that projects a bit more for my project studio/rehearsal room.

Huh... I am sitting about 100 yards from a B-15.  Great bass player that goes to my church (2 doors from my house) has one there he uses.  It's temperamental in it's old age, but still sounds dreamy and humongous.

VERY proud of my state in this regard.  Still a lot of "crypto" talk but I like where we are headed.  Sad that we are under attack from the southern border, and this sort of administration might not continue.  I know some of the lefties on this thread would disagree, but I do not think your political side of the spectrum are going to really be in favor of bitcoin.
