Wow they are getting desperate, invoking islamic terrorism-metaphores.

Meanwhile, here in the NL inflation is at it's highest it's been in decades. And that's only the official figures, my educated guess is that inflation is much higher for the average guy then the official number of 2.7%.

As an example, my house is going up in (fiat) value by a whopping 1% per month! That means the monthly rise of (fiat) value of my house is now more then my salary. In theory I could stop working now.

Luckily I'm not affected by the rising energy prices much (at least not directly) as my house is almost self-sufficient for energy thanks to all the green energy-stuff I have (hi MoA!).

Many WO merits for this.

Pfft left and right nowadays are just two sides of the same coin. They both want to limit individual freedom, one wants big government the other big corporations to govern us. At least one of the two is more democratic, depending on where you live.

However 'freedom' is an interesting word here. The 'negative' meaning is freedom from constraints, the 'positive' meaning is freedom to create, organize etc. This last meaning is not popular anymore in our hyper individualistic world. That's a problem because no man is an island, and with true freedom comes responsibility to others.

Valid point. Although there are a number of large corporations, particularly Big Tech companies, run by CEOs and entire boards who are liberals. And these companies biggest internal changes year after year are more heavy-handed draconian policies, procedures, and red tape for their employees that limit their freedoms and ability to get work done.

So Fed govt vs. corp govt, what's the difference? Personally I just see them in bed with each other.

These guys...  Billionaires in the current system.  Particularly the ones who play games with ledgers to make their wealth.

They either got there by luck, or by smarts.  I think it is impossible for it to be luck.  Because wolves smarter than them would take any lucky money they make.

So it's knowledge.  And on this level it's knowledge of how the game works.

Bitcoin breaks the game.  That threatens their systems.  NOT their riches.  The path to maintaining their wealth in a world in which Bitcoin becomes important is elementary for people who HEDGE for a living. Lol.

So they do not want their systems broken which have allowed them to profit on the backs of the rest of us. 

I do not take issue with their profit.  I take issue with the fact they want to maintain systems that enslave the majority for the benefit of themselves.

In my opinion Ken Griffin has proved he is EVIL.

I HOPE he has a short position against Bitcoin.  And I would like to think it is the pupusa dealers in El Salvador who are beginning to store their pennies in Bitcoin who make his positions get liquidated.  And I LOVE that his loss will flow directly into the value of those pupusa seller's satoshis.
