Someone's working real hard to make the chart look as uglier as possible... on literally every timeframe.

Is the 200-week MA going to start to serve as resistance rather than support?

Support is holding up pretty well all things considered. This week will be interesting to see how the market responds to a potential wave of asks hitting exchanges. I suspect we’ll see the recent lows being tested but you never know. I wouldn’t be shocked if the market jumps up once the mtgox news is official either.

Maybe for 18 months, yes. The next halving is estimated April 2024, I expect us to be around $40,000 then & then obviously the next bull begins as we peak at something like $200,000 in late 2025.

Nobody should be under any illusion though, we are absolutely 100% in a bear market now. Should last another 18 or so months.

Cheap coins are a gift, boys. Don’t waste the opportunity that the next 18 months brings you.

Merited, but $40K at the halving-yes, 170K-200K at the peak-yes, 18 mo-not it my opinion, albeit if you mean reaching back to 69K, then, yes.
If you mean "just" 15K-30K for 18mo, I would respectfully disagree, although it depends on stonks.
If stonks manage a bull (maybe amid mildly falling rates in the second half of 2023), then we might have a premature "pop" to much higher 40-50K way before halving, but $40K at halving seems very possible.

I love it when bitcoin drops like this.I even think it will go down as much as 25% before it goes up. But the reason I love it besides cheap coins is that it shuts up all the detractors. Nobody falsely calls it a scam. When it goes up over the next few years the hodl strategy will once again prove to be the best. Finally bitcoin just carries on functioning as it has since day one. Longevity matters and it is like a poke in the eye to the detractors. I am in seventh heaven….
