RIP Hagrid
Never seen a single HP movie. Never read one book. Fan of JKR for the massive set of fucking balls she has. But, that said... 72 is too young. Sounds less and less old the further I go.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Mine too. But 6mm is crazy talk if we stick with the current sort of cycle-theory trajectory as it stands. We will need an explosive influx to hit that sort of target... It's coming. I still think sooner rather than later.

BTC is coming closely to the decision point. This will decide the next mid trend.
Breakdown 18k or breakout 20k will decide the next 40-50% movement.

I have no idea why there has been a tremendous influx of pompous, loud-mouthed newbies, but can I assume that Bitcointalk's new-registration activity itself is a good metric for how Bitcoin adoption is doing?
Yup. Sats earned now, are dollars in the bank in just a few years. Even our little island has been invaded...

Even our little island has been invaded... with some bizarre posts, no less half of the time I don't even get the main idea or direction. say, maybe it is being used as a training platform for various AI-lites? I had that feeling before, but was wrong back then, perhaps.

Bit of a boring time with the economic doom and gloom. Also, remarkably little in the cinema to distract. Thought about going to see Halloween Ends. Then I read a few reviews and that put me right off. I feel sad for the cinema chains with the utter tripe they are putting out at the moment. A decent movie I saw last week at home was The Outfit with Mark Rylance. Worth a watch if you like the sort of Alfred Hitchcock stuff.

Seconded! Top-notch performance by Rylance, and a clever plot with twists & turns until the very end. Edit:Another one I would recommend is Nightmare Alley (2021), by director Guillermo del Toro. Worth a watch.
