The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Scotland now has a racist First Minister, who has a problem with most representatives of that country, which has a 96% white population, being white.

Good luck with that shite.

Let's see Saudi Arabia have its first white leader soon, right?

Is there any explanation of this chart in more like ELI5 style? I did read the explanation provided underneath, however, I don't think I understood it. Especially it will be interesting to learn what people are making out of this chart?

Stacked snapshots of each minute (60 snapshots) of the volume of the bids (price people are offering to buy bitcoin) and volume of the asks (price people are offering to sell a bitcoin).   The red and green lines meet where bid=ask which is where the buying/selling occurs.

This is a chart for Bitcoin searches from 2009 until nowadays, worldwide.

Chart: https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=2009-11-01%202023-03-27&q=%2Fm%2F05p0rrx&hl=en

* ATH for google searches was actually in 2017 bullrun, not in 2021 (maybe this support the theory that our last bull run was more institutional capital and less retail oriented)

that ath for google seach on bitcoin in 2017 was likely because it was the 1st hugely big rip snorting run.. from what like $3k to 17k in a matter of months and it basically came out of nowhere. it took everyone (including a lot of OG) by surprise.

after that run the rest were pretty anticlimax. as we now expect crazy runs as a matter of course. and we dont search google anymore. we read here (well other places too i guess)

imo of course. as i am lazy af and i just hodl. thats all i need to know about corn.

OK, what's the FUD this time?

No clue yet, this is the only thing I found which matches the timeframe:

Anti-money laundering plans seen by CoinDesk have slightly liberalized, but would ban anonymous crypto transfers of more than 1,000 euros.
Large crypto-asset transfers from anonymous self-hosted wallets would be banned under plans set to be voted on by lawmakers on March 28, according to documents seen by CoinDesk.

..

Though the article is less scary than the headline suggests.

Reason for dump:

Binance Sued by US Watchdog for Alleged Derivatives Rule Lapses

They are trying to “regulate”.
Of course they want to control, and have a saying on who sells what.

Bitcoin is not a security, so I would expcect a quick reversal of the move.

Derivatives are complex the lawsuit could be good if it strip’s derivatives away from btc.

edit we are under 27k

i may buy dip if we drop lower.

Indeed the 2017 run was more expressive than the 2021 one, for instance, lets look to gains:

                                             ______________________
          BULLRUN           :        /     2017       /    2021      /
                                          ______________________
*Multiple of high vs low:      /    121.2x     /   22.1x      /
*Time length of bull run:    /27 months   /17 months /

2017: 27 months to do a full ride of 121X
2021: 17 months for a 22x

Data from here: https://elitecurrensea.com/education/bitcoin-2021-vs-bitcoin-2017-how-the-bull-trends-are-similar-and-different

(Im not taken into consideration previous cicles becauase it was too underrated)

Regarding using less google for getting information: that was the reasoning for my merit!

You have opened my mind my friend! Until today I was taking only Google trends results as an indicator, but for sure in a short time we will need to start using other information sources like chat GPT search results too! (even tho, I still think that google will have a key role on that for years to come).

And regard your hodl....look at my nickname Roll Eyes,

have a good life.
