Maybe we should stop buying, so the sellers can't sell anymore.  Cheesy

IIRC, DigitalBTC also dumped coins in mid-June, causing the drop from 620 to 591.
Quite a coincidence.

Goodbye Bitcoin it was nice knowing you !!!

Have just cashed out and dont think I will be coming back :-( seems like the whales are killing the geese that lay the golden eggs !!!

Just don't do it.  Really.  If you already did it, at least buy a little back in.  Nothing is worse than watching a Bitcoin bubble from the sidelines, IMHO.

what bitcoin bubble? stop dreaming poeple, bitcoin is hurt bad, not saying its going to drop much further, but stop thinking its just going to magically go up in a bubblish way.

maybe next year.

800 next week!

Apparently the world loves them too!  Wow, just look at all that buying going on!  Grin  And if it slides further, I'm sure that we'll see multi-millions, maybe billions of dollars worth of public demand rush in instantly!

Is there any precedent in terms of ATH as high as Bitcoin, then a crash as hard as the current one, and long term recovery into a lot higher heighs? can you find an asset that did this, ever?

Oil?
110 to 17 to 139 usd.

Jah crude and natural gas , silver, Apple in 07/09 ($26 to $12) and look where they are now or look at Delta Airlines from May 2007 -  May 2008 ($21 to $4)  and where they are today, or IBM after steady ramping up since '95 then inbetween Oct of 2001 and July 2002 they lost half of their value ($120 to $58) , only to recover, there are many many examples infact. (Exxon, BP, BA- Boeing, GM)

Hey Shroomie, maybe if you and I are the only bagholders of thousands of $10 coins, we can just sell them back and forth to each other (for a small markup of course)!  We can set up our own private exchange. Wouldn't that be great??   Grin
