I'm not letting them of the hook so easily.  Mt. Gox is going to be stuck with the $5k liability to me until they pack up shop and run, send me the wire, or until they pay me BTC valued at mid-Aug rates.

you punishing yourself bcs of mtgox USD withdrawal problems?! that is smart! it's like a digital hunger strike Wink they are problably already freaking out over there. but i can understand, why you wouldn't put it back into bitcoins... it would have trippled or even quadrupled. that is really scary!

Yesterday evening I moved 12 bitcoins from my wallet in mtgox to my personal wallet.. But they have not arrived.

Does anyone know what happened?

https://blockchain.info/en/tx/55cf6305e1f7e4b4f14a5d40b4f09e580e6db6d0865667d8f1a83915ace31990
One of the inputs have a non-standard signature.  The transaction is valid and the outputs are OK, but you will probably have to wait a little longer for a confirmation.  Most miners will regard this as a non-standard transaction and ignore it.

Thank you very much for answering!

Is there any possibility of losing the bitcoins?

I'm a little worried.

No.  The outputs (your coins) are perfectly standard.  If the transaction hasn't been confirmed for 24 hours, MtGox will automatically invalidate it by double-spending one of the inputs, and try to send again using new inputs when the double spending transaction has been confirmed.  So far I haven't heard of any coins lost after a withdrawal from MtGox, but there have been a some long delays.

Sjå https://bitmynt.no for veksling av bitcoin mot norske kroner.  Trygt, billig, raskt og enkelt sidan 2010.
I buy with EUR and other currencies at a fair market price when you want to sell.  See http://bitmynt.no/eurprice.pl
Warning: "Bitcoin" XT, Classic, Unlimited and the likes are scams. Don't use them, and don't listen to their shills.

It would not have been smart to use Mt. Gox attempt to convert BTC --> USD in mid Aug without anticipating exactly this scenario.  It was already clear by that time that Mt. Gox was having significant problems.  I put exactly the amount of money at risk here that I wished, and because I did also wish to have some fiat, I moved some BTC off Mt. Gox and sold it in another way.

It is true that I choose to make another BTC sale which is underway now due in part to the fact that Mt. Gox is sitting on the $5k, but this is not Mt. Gox's fault exactly.

I had the same problem with a withdrawal on 2 days ago. The transaction has never been picked up and at some point was dropped by the network. Blockchain didn't list it anymore yesterday and this morning the biggest input was spend on another transaction. Talking to MtGox support now, but they are slowwww. Would advise you to do the same. It might take a couple of days though.

A new error appears.

Warning! this transaction is a double spend of 96695872. You should be extremely careful when trusting any transactions to/from this sender.

My withdrawal transaction didn't even make it to the blockchain, although my mtgox BTC balance reduced. 36 hours on and not a single response from support (#142898). The whole thing is deeply concerning. The question is, is it wise to attempt further withdrawals....

With the value of BTC skyrocketing I think the delays on SEPA withdrawals will also increase as they can only pay a max of 3 million eur a month.
I except SEPA withdrawal to take at least 8 to 12 weeks if you withdraw now.

US$90? SWIFT? When did this happen?

The common belief is that no SWIFT transfer that was requested after June has been processed except those that have paid the 5% fee. Small SEPA (EUR) transfers have been known to take only a couple of days.

withdraw USD??  by SWIFT??  out of SEPA??  When did you request to withdraw the money in Mtgox?  Please show more information. thanks.

After I had waited for withdrawing USD1.6k more than 5 weeks,  I cancel the withdrawal.

Maybe you have good luck!

$90?!?
Are you inside Japan? Otherwise, the wire fee would eat that up.

1000 EUR withdrawal. Ordered on 2013-09-27, came through 2013-11-11 (noticed it today). 45 days to Sweden.

I should NOT have sold those coins Sad

EDIT: I originally gave the wrong date.

True. However, the withdrawal date was 2013-09-27. I did another withdrawal on 2013-10-19. It has not yet arrived. Sorry for messing up the dates.
