Do you guys have heard explainations about the recent surge in ETH and some cryptos prices ? Like Dash and Zcash.

I know we are many to wait the SEC position and it impact BTC price , but what about the cryptos rising ? they are pushed by BTC ? or is there any good news about them explaining that growth ?

I listen to a you-tuber named "crypt0". He produces videos concerning BTC, ETH, and other alts.  A little rough around the edges but he lets me know what's current. Here is a video concerning ZEC and ZCL.

ZCL is private transactions, no 20℅ "tax" with respect to the dev fee vs. ZEC. He's speculating that ZCL could grow to be similar in market cap as ZEC. If you like ZEC, there's little reason to not love ZCL

I am getting my old Lenovo AMD APU desktop (my Windows PC) at home traded off for a new more powerful Windows PC with multi screen support (more work and monitoring for my team).

I was wondering if I should build one or just get another Lenovo with latest Ryzen APU off the shelf.

My main home desktop is a 5 year old iMac 27" -- upgraded to the tilt with max memory and SSD - it's still good even with running Virtualbox Windows and Linux systems in parallel.

I need to isolate all non-Mac off because all my important stuff like half a dozen wallets are in the Mac and protected with Timemachine.

I guess -- its a security enhancement that I thinking of doing -- resulting 2 separate system.

I thought the same about DCR being well better than Pasc as a secondary with ETH. In fact, the only reason I even started running Pasc on my 4-card rig was that for some mysterious reason, it stopped being able to run ETH+DCR a bit over a week ago.  However, I just ran the numbers for that machine and they are essentially a wash:

- DCR ($1.91):  2200 h/r at -dcri 40 uses +80w vs ETH solo for me. Calcs to a .59/day profit

- PASC ($.165):  912 h/r at -dcri 17 uses +85w vs ETH solo.  Calcs to a .57/day profit

In addition, I still have not found the max profit point for PASC, but I suspect that I should be able to bump it up a few more notches, which would make it a bit better than PASC at current prices.  So, I guess it really depends on which of the 2 you think has a better long-term, unless you are converting directly to BTC via nicehash, etc.

earning about 1.50 usd a day

but I trail off some eth

if I drop  to -dcri -22

I earn about  1.15 - 1.25 usd a day

with almost no eth drop

so my max on past is around  -dcri 22

most likely  everyone should be worse the 22

 17-21  should be best number with pasc

since no one has rigs with ½ the cards a strong psu and an i5 cpu


I did not realize I can go to as high as a -dcri 60 with decred  I will try later today.

just punched in -dcri 35

 eth has stayed same


bumped to -dcri 42

and got nice results   eth stayed the same and I am pushing  5600mh for the rigs in decree

decred goes to -dcri 45  after that eth falls off

I think for me decred is about 3 or 4 cents a day better
