I didn't realise the new drivers (I think 17.10.2 and up) come with the blockchain drivers included, I guess this must be the "Compute" option in the Global Settings, but from what I've read this does not work for all cards (e.g. option not available on R9 270) so some people would still have to use the seperate blockchain drivers.

I remeber I had tried a new driver, but it won't install due to all AMD in the rig had modded bios. The blockchaindriver installed, then patched and everything was fine. So I didn't test any new drivers since then and if there's no real benefit, I continue to use "old" blockchain driver.

Anyone has good luck with 570 4gb Aorus cards with hynix memory?
I'm doing 1120/2020 right now and hashing 28.7 eth tops at 98w hwinfo. Anything higher than 2020 mem clock with throw in errors and introduce stability.
I've used one-click patch from PBE v.16 and this is my result.

I build and sell rigs! I also sell ssd clones of the most stable Windows+Claymore+AMD driver combo you'd ever used.

Greetings. Its April 18, the day we are supposed to see the new RX570/580 Series from AMD. I am creating this thread, so we can share information about those in one thread. Some Info from different brands and their speeds here: https://videocardz.com/amd/radeon-500/radeon-rx-580https://videocardz.com/amd/radeon-500/radeon-rx-570I guess there is no 8000Mhz Samsung ram anymore for the RX570 Series, i hope its not true I think there are many people, including myself, who have been waiting for the rebrand to build new rigs, so lets see if it's worth it. Feel free to post info about different brands, bios moding and stuff you fell is relevant to this thread. Hi, I can not find 11265-07-41G model of Sapphire Nitro+ Radeon RX 580 4GB on the link. Can anyone please tell the difference between 11265-07-41G and 11265-07-20G of Sapphire Nitro+ Radeon RX 580 4GB. Thanks

What do you guys think, is it worth to pay more for nitro+, or i should go for cheaper ones?

How many are you buying anyway? If you’re to build 6 or 8 card rig, buy the card that you can get identical cards so less headache tweaking them. I’d go with the cheapest one that has a decent stock core clock i.e. if X card has higher core than Y card but is $20 more go with it. 570 hashes 28-29.9 while 580 cards do 30 easy and could reach 31 if lucky.

Exactly this. This was one of my mistakes to buy cards from different manufacturers. If you purchase the same 6,8, or 10 cards at the same time it is very likely that you’ll receive cards from the same production batch. Customizing the timing will be much easier - naturally there will be slight variations but the entire process should be much smoother.

Same here, when I first started mining I bought a miscelleneous collection of cards, as and when I could get them, so ended up with a mongrel collection on my rigs, this made it a PITA setting up each card - if only I knew then what I know now

Rx 570 8gb Sapphire Nitro+ Dual mining ETH+DCR 29.8 mh/s + 600 mh/s with 130W @ wall.. I guess there is still some room for improvement about the Wattage right? I have just finish fine tuning some rx 570 4gb Elpida: eth+pasl 29.8 + 250 with GPU Z 105 W and some RX 580 8gb Micron eth+pasl 31.5 + 250 mh with GPUZ giving 100 W straps from anorek with some cut & paste because electricity here doesnt come cheap Just for your reference

Sorry for late reply, just saw your post. Did you buy them? If yes, share us your experience or let me state my opinion here. The prices of those cards are higher, you can easily get sapphire nitro+ in slightly less price on amazon.co.uk (Last time I checked it was 1-2 weeks ago, maybe when you posted and was a great price among in-stock websites). Have heared some good things about powercolor too and xfx 580 too.

Hi guys, Im new to mining and new here but Im hoping you can help me. I finally got a GPU after a couple weeks of constantly refreshing on Amazon and Im just trying to get better performance.
GPU: XFX RX 570 8GB w/Hynix memory plugged directly into the MOBO (ASUS Z270H), Win 10, EVGA 750W Gold PSU, 8GB RAM, AMD Crimson Beta for Blockchain and MSI Afterburner.
Before trying to mod anything, I joined Nanopool using Claymore to mine ETH only and was getting 16 Mh/s so I flipped the ‘dual bios’ switch (pushed towards the front of the card with the output connectors) but it still gave me 16 Mh/s. I then got Polaris, edited the memory timing lines and copied the lines from 1:1750 and 2:1750 to 1:2000 and 2:2000 respectively, flashed the new bios but it wouldn’t mine saying it couldn’t find a GPU. I didn’t get ATI pixel clock patcher at this point. I got the Polaris mod for RX5xxx and saw it only had the memory timing lines copied from 2:1750 to 2:2000 but I flashed the bios and it worked, giving me 26 Mh/s.
I decided to check my power consumption after 4 hours or so and it was 200 watts when mining. My computer peaked at 50 watts but seemed to stabilized around 25 watts idle. I shut down the computer, flipped the ‘dual bios’ switch again but it seems like the bios flash is on both switches because it was pulling 200 watts and 26 Mh/s even though I only flashed it when it was flipped in the forward position.
I played around with a few of the MSI AB settings as I’ve seen many people suggest but everything stayed about the same.
Any ideas on how I can get my power consumption down as I thought I should be able to get a higher hash rate with less power (~29 Mh/s @ ~130watts).

heads up guy!
MSI Gaming X Rx570/580 are EOL or End of Life already. The backorders aren’t going to be fulfilled anymore.
Also EVGA have refunded all backorders to all supplier, distributors, wholesalers and small retailers.
Source: My guy who does bulk order direct from Taiwan.

Hello mates, I have one question related to "-powlim" value used in claymore miner.
I have several rx 580 nitro+ 4gb throwing around 31,5 mhs eth + 1500 mhs xvg.
My bat file is like that:
-allcoins 1 -allpools 1 -tstop 85 -tt 55 -fanmin 40 -fanmax 60 -cclock 1200 -mclock 2100 -cvddc 850 -mvddc 950 -r 1 -dcri 50 -gser 4 -powlim -10
So could anyone share results with -powlim using rx 580 or rx 570??
Finally, I also want to ask if anyone has rx 570 aorus 4gb with hynix mems (256 kb bios) and could share its config/bios file
thanks!!!
