its junk elphida memorry 1500 straps unstable even at 1900 mem I've got 14 Asus RX 570 Expedition OC with junk Elpida ram hashing at 28 Mh/s each rock stable. 1266/1925. Not extremely efficient but I've got a good deal on electricity currently so I don't care! Is there a way, we could get more info about that OC? Which straps are you using? Memory voltage? Current power consumption? Any additional related info? Wasted a couple of days triing to OC Asus Strix 570. Not much luck sofar . 1500 straps--> unstable 1600 straps --> unstable..... Any recomendations?

I haven't had any experience with the 480s, but I will say it seems there was a lot more "work" to get the 570s and 580s working as well as people say the 4 series work. That being said, as irritating as it was and with the 2 days I lost tweaking, I would probably buy the 5 series again because it provided a good learning experience and in the end I ultimately got the same results. If you're in a rush to get started, the 4 series might be better, but if you want to learn more about getting your cards to optimal operation and understanding why people are recommending what they do, the 5 series may provide that with the learning it takes to get them running right.
Thanks for the feedback. Actually I am on the same page. Spending a couple of days for running and optimizing the rif Will be good experience. I will buy rx570s. Which cards do you run for your rig? Any advice on rx570/580 models?

There is probably specific information in one of the 570/580 threads on what is best, but I went with a couple Sapphire Radeon nitro+ 570s and a couple 580s of the same.

5x570 msi armor and 1x asus strix on a msi z170a sli board, 900w dual mining, 160/1450mhs, win10. Not bad. I havent pushed them at all, core clocks are either 950/1050/1125 mem 1925 to 2000, 0.84v to 0.96v. I find 570s to be more resilient than 470s for some reason.

Read my post two lines above yours. You can get 28 with slightly higher clocks.

copy 2:1500 to 2:1750, 2:2000, 2:2250. for reference use 1200/2050/920 (GPU, memory, GPU voltage). Than tune cards, until you get results you like (hash rate and power usage). Just turn on the HW monitor and watch for memory errors. Not all cards are created the same and some do 30 MH/s on less than 800 mV. And some can produce memory errors even at 2050. with these settings I get about 29 MH/s per card when dual mining. Also play with -dcri setting if you are using claymore. It can change the result quite dramatically.

Guys, I know there was a problem with the driver that did not allow more than 4 cards to run on one mobo. I have seen the tutorial for the fix, but I was wondering does it allow for 7 cards to run on one card? z170 or 270 in particular?
Would really appreciate an answer.
Thanks!

Hi! I have 6 pcs from this card. Today I tried to mdoify bios and bricked one of the cards. I am with Hynix and I havn't 2:1750. My timings are very strange: 21645256, 3355496, 3361497 and etc ( look these pictures). Now it mining with 24.7 Mh/s ETH and 730 Mh/s SC.Motherboard: Gygabite H81M-DS2 CPU: G1840 RAM: 4GB 1600 Kingston SSD: Samsung EVO 840 120GB PSU: Cooler Master GX650 DRV: 17.4.3 with copied WT6A_INF from 16.9.1 Stock clocks and -60mV Do you know some way ti unbrick? Which is the best drivers at the moment for these cards? Why I change clocks performance is bad than stock? Thank you!

Thank you. But when the bricked card is in the motherboard it do not want to boot, neither integrated GPU. I will try 1-8 pin method.

Hm how do you do it on linux, everytime my cards go dead Linux won't even boot (black scree). On windows it is higher chance, at least for me.

I have 6 Sapphire Nitro+ RX 580 with 4GB Samsung Memory. I can't get above 24 MH/s. I can't see to find any good BIOS mods for this specific card. Does anyone have anything that works well. - Thanks
