Hi folks,
a question.
Is there any way to run 10 or even 13 gpu`s of the same architecture, on Win10??
Are 4GB RAM enough?

Thanks in advance.

generally you should be able to do more than 13, as long as your chipset supports and your MB doesn't fuck with you
even AMD buggy drivers of late(17.10.2 and above) are capable of 10+ GPUs, under certain conditions though the driver install with all cards inside  may take VERY long time and this fucking manual switch to compute mode card by card is extremely annoying

good to know! now I can get rid of the annoying gui crap altogether. sweeet!

I'd suggest rx5** Sapphire Nitro+  good cooling, excellent performer, dual bios(physical switch) for emergencies

Counting from left (x16 slot is the #4) #5 is empty, as I'm using 12 GPUs
well... It's hard to believe but it looks like that in Win10, 17.11.1:
#1(D06), #2(D01), #3(D09), #4(D00) , #5(--), #6(D02), #7(D10), #8(D03), #9(D11), #10(D04), #11(D07), #12(D05), #13(D08)

The order is the same for HWinfo, claymore, gpuz

Hi All, I've heard some people say that PCI E adapters touching is a problem.  Is this true?  I've read other places that says it's not a problem and not to worry about it.

I wrap mine with electrical tape and haven't had any issues.

i would prefer the super jetstream if you are not planning to buy big beast like 1080, the cooler is one of the best for lower TDP gpu

Hello,
I use ethos 1.2.7 13 gtx1080 gigabyte turbo + m2SSD
and I use ewbf-zcash miner

And I have issues:
1. Ethos  see 12 gpu of 13 (gtx1080 gigabyte turbo)

2. And I can't use core/mem/powerlimits adjust and 8+ GPU in one time.
    - so I have to use default settings for 8+ GPU
    - or I can decrease power limits and make overclock for 8 GPU.
    otherwise GPU stops randomly.

Any body have any advice

Which software do you use to overclock more than 8 GPU under Windows 10 64bit fall update? Afterburner seems to be stuck at 8. Other tools even less.

Try with NvidiaInspector. The only problem I have is that I can not load saved profiles so I use MSI AB and additional overclocking programme( in my case as I have Zotac cards-Firestorm). WIth msi I oc 8 cards and with Firestorm 2 remaining. But Nvidia Inspector is able to detect >8, so if you are able to load saved profiles that will perfectly work.

No need to load profiles, just make a script, this tool can be used with the cmdline. Example with 6 cards.

Code:
%~dp0nvidiaInspector.exe -setBaseClockOffset:0,0,210 -setMemoryClockOffset:0,0,530 -setPowerTarget:0,56 -setTempTarget:0,0,90 -setFanSpeed:0,60
%~dp0nvidiaInspector.exe -setBaseClockOffset:1,0,210 -setMemoryClockOffset:1,0,530 -setPowerTarget:1,56 -setTempTarget:1,0,90 -setFanSpeed:1,60
%~dp0nvidiaInspector.exe -setBaseClockOffset:2,0,210 -setMemoryClockOffset:2,0,530 -setPowerTarget:2,56 -setTempTarget:2,0,90 -setFanSpeed:2,60
%~dp0nvidiaInspector.exe -setBaseClockOffset:3,0,210 -setMemoryClockOffset:3,0,530 -setPowerTarget:3,56 -setTempTarget:3,0,90 -setFanSpeed:3,60
%~dp0nvidiaInspector.exe -setBaseClockOffset:4,0,210 -setMemoryClockOffset:4,0,530 -setPowerTarget:4,56 -setTempTarget:4,0,90 -setFanSpeed:4,60
%~dp0nvidiaInspector.exe -setBaseClockOffset:5,0,210 -setMemoryClockOffset:5,0,530 -setPowerTarget:5,56 -setTempTarget:5,0,90 -setFanSpeed:5,60

Works amazing, many thanks!

Hi,
I have issue with when mining Ethereum. I've modded rx580 cards (same cards, same bios mod), but when I connect in rig only one (one in pciex16) gets 29mhs in ethereum dual mining and the other 3 do only 25mhs per card. Can it be somehow connected, with PCIEx3 vs PCIEx2 ports? Different algo (Cryptonight) seems to work fine.

Hello,
I had the problem that system freezes at random time intervals while mining when using 10 Nvidia cards on H110 motherboard running on Win10. I was aware of the limit on Win10: 8 nvidia and 5 amd, or other way round so I got information that windows solved that problem in Fall creators update (1709). Unfortunately, my system was running two days and after that it started to freeze again on random time intervals when mining: approximately 2-3 hours.  I tested both EWBF and DSTM miner. Has anyone reported that this win update can fix the problem?

This is a description my system conf:

Rig:
10x Zotac 1070 AMP Extreme
Asrock H110 Pro BTC
Intel i3
8GB RAM
500 HDD
2x corsair 1000W + Kolink 750W : 2750W

OC:
Power Limit: 65
GPU Core: 70
Memory Core: 270
Target Temp: 70

OS:
Windows 10 1709, Fall creators Update

EWBF: 4600 sol/s   Power usage: 160W/card
DSTM: 4750 sol/s

I think that I have finally found what was causing the problem. It seems that the last PCIe is not working properly. When I insert extender with the card in it, Win freezes one minute after turning on. Still, have the issue with stability. It works stable only for approximately 15 hours on average. Maybe it's PSU.

Did you try a different raiser? It worked for me twice to fix an unstable rig.

FYI Almost all of the "bad raiser" issues come down to the bad connection of 12v within molex to raiser connector.
RE stability issues do try to disconnect and reconnect power to raisers, also various tasks that windows may start automatically may cause issues. (disable the bunch of Nvidia tasks in Windows Task Scheduler for starters)

have you turned on the "compute" mode for all cards (separately for each one)?

Also I can confirm that installing AMD 17.10.1 - 17.11.1 (currently preferred drivers) without gui, after DDU (make sure there ONLY MS adapters in the system, otherwise perform another DDU) by pointing to the unzipped driver folder for the GPUs in device manager and later running the reg patch (see earlier posts in the thread) works flawlessly. This way complete driver install for 12 AMD GPUs takes 3 min.
