Yes... two Molex and one SATA power connector.

Yes... two Molex and one SATA power connector.

But I have powered risers. I read somewhere that it is a bad combination, either use powered risers or use molex power from MoBo.

Also if I do power it, do I need to power sata too ?

the risers don't get the power from PCIe x1 slots, so it can't be a bad combination in any way. basically that's just additional power connectors for the MB, and ASRock suggests to connect them all.

Hi got some problems too with this board,  Roll Eyes

I got one rig with 10 gpus (rx580, 560,  2 vega 56) - no problems at all.  all gen2, onboard graphic etc..

I mount another rig with 10 vega 64 but only can connect 9, if i installed the 10 gpu, i have no post on poweron..

Any ideia too what could i check?

I changed to 16 gb ram its the same, have a lot of power too..

No problems in risers too,

my solution was to put one vega in my desktop pc.. but its frustating Smiley

Regards,

Also, do you have power connected to all THREE PCIe PWR headers near the PCIe slots? There will be one "Molex" 4-pin PCIE_PWR1 near PCIE1_1, one "Molex" 4-pin PCIE_PWR2 near PCIE7_1 and another SATA Power Connector called SATA_POW1. All three should be powered from (connected to) the same PSU supplying power to your motherboard ATXPWR1.

Just noticed the SATA_POW1, is this required? http://www.asrock.com/support/faq.asp?id=454

I would say running VEGAs, yes. Absolutely. And it should be from the same PSU powering your motherboard.

VEGA is good for XMR mining, which will last long.

This is ABSOLUTELY TRUE (the risers don't get any power from the PCIe x1 slots/USB interface).

I’m using this mobo more than one year without any problems. I achieved to run only 12 AMD GPUs and as I understood it is related to Windows 10 restrictions. There is a perfect possibility to run 13 GPUs, but you have to use mix of AMD and NVidia GPUs. Good board with good quality.

This is terrible board! I have seen so many problems with this board while making diagnostics to other people rigs. Then I had 2 for my own rigs. Nvidia went well but amd rig had this wierd PCIE not detected problem. After swaping half risers and wasting time repluging, cmos clearing, setting changes, various bioses I realised that this is just stupid board! Now my rig works but after every restart some cards are not detected, so I do restarts while rig works normally again!
I have never encountered such problems with biostar 12 slot board!

Biostar looks better than this one however this is a nice board. I also manage other people rigs and I have seen really great stability with this board. The risers I use are always 009s which have at least 3 ways of connecting the riser and they are one of the best quality and this is one of the boards I have had the less problems with. It all depends on the configuration, I would put this board and the biostar in the same league.

I am having the exact same problem (doesn't see all GPUs, several reboots and it MIGHT see them all). Have you found a fix or solution?

The latest is 1.10, correct? If so, yes, I have the latest BIOS.

I doubt there is a problem with the 110.  My next step would be to replace risers on cards that don’t show up.  There’s an old saying in the mining world... If you’re sure it’s not the riser, then it’s probably the riser.   Grin

The symptom is that each time the system boots, somewhere between 1 and 4 RANDOM GPUs (could be 1, could be 3, etc.) out of the 8 total GPUs, are not seen by the OS (smOS in this case). However, if you keep rebooting, eventually it will fire up all 8. Since it's a random number of random GPUs, I wouldn't suspect it would be a riser unless a bad riser is somehow interfering with the proper operation of other risers. It seems more likely to be BIOS settings and/or power-related.

Well, if you think it may be a power issue, disconnect power from 1 or 2 cards and see if the rest come up consistently.

Hi

I bought this ASrock H110 Pro BTC + motherboard, my intention is to install 12 gpus (580 + 570) and leave the integrated graphic only for the monitor and avoid stress in mining gpu.

I have seen that many miners are using 13 gpus mining, is it possible to use the integrated graph for the monitor + 13 gpus mining? (14 gpus)

I suppose those who use 13 gpus mining do not use the integrated one, does the equipment remain stable?

Greetings guys!

Is it possible to use the integrated graphics for the monitor + 13 GPUs mining? (14 GPUs)?

Yes.

Hello. I just replace my old Biostar TB250-BTC Pro with Asrock H110 Pro BTC+ and I have a problem.
System won`t boot ... after display Asrock logo, I see only one " - " in upper left corner Smiley

OS tested : Ethos and HiveOS
Boot : from USB ( i also try to boot from SSD )
VGA : Onbord ( and with 1 or 12 gpus, same problem )
The MB is connected with 2 molex + 1 sata from the same PSU

I made test with same USB in other rig and works fine, also all GPU`s/risers works without problems ... so problem is from MB. One hour tested diffrent BIOS settings without success ...

Thanks and I`m waiting some advices Smiley
