Anyone  trying out this SIGT  "Skunk-raptor" algo?

Im always liking to try the 1080ti's on the new algos so tried it out

52.5 mh/s on Zotac at 100%TDP -i 25, +150core/ +400 mem
48mh/s seems more viable as far as efficecy goes, 70%ish tdp, the usual for 1080ti ;p

gigabytes max at 48mh/s for me, algos pretty intense on them, cheap bastards haha

dosent have an exchange yet, so i mined a few and will wait now, see where it goes

35 mhs on Strix Gaming os in stock.
Why? SP mod?

Ye Smiley

It has an exchange now, getting doggypiled on a bit more everyday tho, i mined a nice chunk on launch

I was mining it 2 days ago and was thinking with 2 days data then will see how it goes before sharing it here... but just a 2 days the difficulty shoot to the roof.

again as usual our mr SP is helping to accelerating the game maybe... so as usual the mod will see great for 1 to 2 days then all will be unknown. Very discouraging for home miner to try max out their game card or small rig. lol..

Lucky my first 2 day mining was giving nice return. Now just hope the coin price can hold or up.

What are you getting with 1080ti and 1070s on hashrate at DGB Skein and myr?
I earn more with Skein right now, ist about 15-20 more DGBs per h...

i got about  500-550Mh on a gtx 1080 ti and 300-330Mhs on 1070s.

Guys I've been mining DGB skein for almost 2 months with 2xGPU rig, cashout yesterday for some nice profit but those difficulty increase yesterday with so many miners hopping into dgb killed my 800+ coins daily to ~500 :x Someone can share any algo similar to skein in term of 1080ti dominance? My Gigabyte GAMING X were at ~54 Celsius at 60% fan with 75%tdp.
I've been following this thread from beginning, thanks everyone for sharing insights, learned a lot from You guys:)

Did you use Alexis78 ccminer/where do you mine? It totally rocks with around 210W at wall for each card and 4.6-4.9MH/W. It's stable 970mh on my cards, one day I've got less than 680 on The Block Factory.
Did someone succeeded to set up skein solo mining? Got some nice block count on pool ^^

Market is red today

I don't want any more LBC, MONA, or DGB

Looking for coins to mine with the Ti's that have a low return today but good future prospects.

Anyone got something similar to DGB out there?

edit - that our cards mine well

I've tried HUSH and ZEN, they both gave better results than from miner being comparable to DGB mining at that time but equihash ends up producing more heat.
They have some possible future but I don't really believe in fork of forks but removing some flaws from original put  that disbelief at wager.
Still looking for some new coins but since I only have 2 gpu right now I 'm staying away from coins _sp offering mods for Cheesy

Hush and Zen cost too many resources per coin

And I can never get the damn zen wallet to sync.

I mean like 1,000 coins a day on something that may never grow but if it does could easily shoot from a fraction of a cent to 20 cents a coin in the future

I don't see ZEN reaching 50 USD any time soon

Cant find much info on Myriadcoin, well there is pretty big thread here, but it looks like there is no movement at all. Difficulty is pretty high but on 1x1080ti it should be 1k+ coin per day on skein.
Sadly only pool that i could find with it is MiningPoolHub but miners on multicoin port hopping on it when diff decreases with like 50x 6xrigs screws my daily earnings with their share rate.
I've similiar issues with setting solo mining as with DGB skein tho.
If someone could help me with setting solomining MYR i'll drop a block reward or two... ^^

Guys,

if you could start over - would you ever get a different card?

As in a 1070 instead of a 1080ti ?

I feel like 1070 has a better ROI than 1080ti -yes in long run 1080ti may do good because of resale value since 4k gaming is becoming mainstream but if I were to make a calculated guess- 1440p at 60 fps will get affordable by next year for which 1070 is the value champion.

1080ti is good for 4k gaming at 60fps -hence value may stay up but not a lot of buyers out there.

The reason i bought Ti's was I couldn't source cheaper cards. 650 is baseline for a Ti

If you can find 1070s new for under 325 i'd say that's a better deal

But above 325 the Ti's pretty handily win. Especially when you consider space

Well, even before a mining BOOM 1080ti was kin of hot product in my country, so since I'm going to upgrade my rig, 1080ti suits me the best.
From start (late may) 1070 have better ROI when i checked but even at the bubble peak it was about 2-3 days.
Counting resale value, rigs density, technological advancement... Yea, I won't even look at 1070 now. But they can be better for high density rig or for starting with low investement.
But to be honest even in high density rig it's really better to have 6 cards hashing like 15, than the other way.

I've used one included in Nemos miner, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1777336.0
As I stated above... Since not having full rig now, I'm kind off of _sp modded mineable coins Smiley He's doing amazing job but when the mod hit miners difficulty skyrockets, and it's really hard to make reasonable profit without _spmod but buying it is kind of gamble with 2 cards. If you have higher hashing cap just follow _spmod thread, he's always on wave Cheesy

Hmm, have you considered its price to call it the best above all? Smiley

With current violate movements on GPU market i can't really take into consideration 1080ti price. Even now in my country you can buy it depending on manufacturer from ~800$ to ~1400 with liquid cooling.
I've bought mine (because of reseller messed my order with violation of law) at around 650$ price counting USD today ratio. So yeah, effectively FOR ME it's best of all.
I've been running GPU rendering too, so that points my ROI to few projects and mining is nice, pretty "stable" addition to what I can make Smiley
Edit:
Eg. 3 weeks ago price for Gigabyte Gaming X was 1200$ from 900$, now it's 1100$ from about two days.*
*basing on current usd ratio

See thing is that I'm looking to buy another card for my machine within next 10 days.

I feel like 1070 is really a good value considering for gaming and mining. Especially resale aspect- I know most hardcore don't care about resale since you've already recuperated their investment but I can get a 1070 for a good price with 1 year warranty. At today's dirt low crypto prices it'll take 170 ROI and 1080ti would take 207 days- yes - in longer run it'll make more money but for people like me with 1-2 cards I have to take resale into account.

1070 is around $400 and 1080ti is around $700-800 - and I need blower style since my rig is small.

**Hopefully within in next 10 days or so before I make my purchase we get an insight about new AMD line up then maybe I can look into those lol haha
