I don't understand why people are mining DGB
Makes no sense to me
SKein or groestl
SIGT, the Z coins, and LBRY are the best so far as I can tell. Also music coin whatever the hell that is
Is it because the math works out if you don't pay for power or something? Or have a really low rate?
Yeah, I don't get it either.. it makes wonder the same.

Thanks for sharing. My mobo only supports 4 gpus, so thats what i will have eventually. Still not sure wether to buy a ti or not. Edited: I keep wondering if it is earning me more to mine dgb at flypool or TBF, and have it exchanged myself. It would be more work too. What do you think? I will not keep DGB, so it will be exchanged almost every day or so. I need BTC atm. If you want to accumulate BTC then I'd say stick with automatic conversion. I have DGB in my account - to be honest- I didn't know much about Skein- I thought skein could only be used to mine DGB lol -i'm a newbie still. Now I'm mining ZEC at flypool and accumulating them. I'll switch once I see a rise. It's like hedging your bets- if you only keep btc then that's it-no hedge. (That's my theory) Last time my DGB was worth 19 bucks or so and I was able to sell them at $34 - that's a huge plus for someone mining with one card. If you know could you enlighten me-on how I can use Skein to mine something other than DGB? or you just use sniff dog and let it do it's thing? and Nemo. So once I get my cards I'll have 1070-1080-1080ti and perhaps the last one I'll get would be another 1080ti -that's a big maybe. I still have 1500 w PSU . Maybe even an AMD lol but going slowly is allowing me to keep my options open and I await a sneaky discount and then buy lol.

After signatum had it's first halving I moved back to DGB-skein, with 3 tis and one 1060 i'm netting close to 900dgb a day, so $10-$14/day, seems close enough to optimal and I don't have to jump algos constantly.

I just purchased the 1080Ti. I was planning on using the Claymore miner for ETH and Pascal. Is there a better option I should be following with this particular GPU?

Dual mining eth and pascal aren't as profitable as the others, the coins that are more profitable are nearly even to each other so its more of preference to which we have been choosing, or at least that is what I've noticed.

Guys, what kind of efficiency improvement do you get when underclocking? Does someone have hard numbers?
Will power 2 rigs with a IBM bladecenter 2880W, if the difference in efficiency is low enough i'll just run 12 close to stock, or 14 down tweaked.
Any recomended brand for the 1080Ti, Blower type? I'm considering the Asus Turbo but any sugestion is welcomed.

Guys, what kind of efficiency improvement do you get when underclocking? Does someone have hard numbers? ...
Skunk algorithm is pretty sensitive for overclocking/underclocking of 1080 Ti in a good and most efficient power consumption way for me. I overclocked /underclocked my Aorus 1080 Ti Xtremes to core +120 (1841MHz) and memory -2000 (9010MHz) with power limit at 85% and getting around 59 MH/s in tpruvot's ccminer x86 2.2 per every single card! It seems that lowering memory clocks to lowest possible value helps gaining hashes in this specific algorithm. For example at stock settings (1721MHz / 11010MHz) and power limit at 100% these Aorus 1080 Ti Xtreme cards are giving only about 52 MH/s per card in the same miner with each card pulling 100W more of the wall in contrast that when they are actually underclocked to settings I described, pulling 100W less of the wall per each card, yet still running about 7 MH/s more per card at skunk! I guess it is because of GDDR5X memory types these cards have and that's why lowering memory clocks a lot surprisingly gains more hashes at these cards.

Hm in MSI afterburner i can only reduce memory speed to -550 Mhz. Can you please tell me what tool you are using to reduce the memory speed that much? Thanks

Thanks I use Aorus native utility called "GRAPHICS ENGINE" for overclocking/underclocking. I am not sure whether that tool would work also for 1080 Tis of other brands and manufacturers, but probably not.

1080ti is pretty sweet for signatum.
I think it's best card for signatum. Signatum algo sponsored by Nvidia to boost 1080Ti sales? Soon I will join the 1080Ti owners club!

Thanks look at his numbers, he uses a soft that counts a different way the memory speed. at the end he is not downclocking more than you do I think. but you can use nvidia inspector that allows -1000

It should happened to SIGT on first halving but because of dev team issue, it did not achieve. We will see how the price of SIGT 2 days later.

I believe SIGT is too risky ATM. I prefer safe and sound ZEC. It will rise in the future as well. 1k$ per ZEC easy. DGB risky too :S Just my 2cents
