I actually never saw a single 1080Ti running without crashing with mem above +500. Most of them have problem with +400... OTOH , the only 2 GTX-1080 (Not Ti) I have can run with +700 without crashing.
with equihash: -My OC Strix supports +130 Core, +1020 Memony - -My OC Aourus extreme extreme water: +80 core, and really little OC in memory One thing to keep in mind - some cards have a FACTORY memory overclock. I've seen Factory memory clocks on 1080ti models anywhere from 10000 (effective) to a hair over 11000 (effective), which would be actual "base" clocks from 2500 to 2750. A card that STARTS at 2750 isn't going to do +500 as easily as a card that starts at 2500.... EWBF in my opinion is overall the best ZCash miner, but Claymore is very close - I prefer the "configurable" fee option, as I think Claymore's 2% is an excessive ripoff especially now that his miner is NOT the undisputed hashrate leader.

Overclocking in linux, specially remote, is a pain, and I'm not always able to get it. EWBF: I get about 750 sol/s with the Aourus Extreme Waterforce, and 780 with the Strix. I'm unable to squeze any additional performance from the Aorus overcloking, however the extra OC allows the Strix give the 780.

Definitely go with OC cards. I have a mix of "regular" and OC versions of Nvidia 1070 and I have to say that it is more easy to manage OC cards - "fire and forget".

I think an exchange dropping a coin is bad news for holders of that coin. In this case, I'd expect further drops in price of SIGT. I recommend that you sell your coins before it is getting too late. Other than rare cases, this is a common problem for some altcoins.

I just noticed SIGT got out of "maintenance" on Cryptopia although I still seem to be missing a few days worth. It will going POS in 9.5 days so maybe worth holding?

Want to mine equihash( Hush, zcash ) with my TI
What is the best Nvidia equihash miner ? EWBF ? is there better ?
Thanks a lot !
Hi man, still is EWBF 0.3.4b. If you want to know an updated miner, go to bench tab on yiimp or zpool (don't remember which one have equihash listed) and narrow your search for this algo and your GPU. ^^

What is the best exchange now for SIGT?
YoBit is the only one I know of and you may used novaexchange as well! by the way, Cryptopia defreezed SIGT, so you can withdraw it and send to other account : to your local wallet, yobit or nova and trade there on YoBit however volumes would be higher I think, so it is wiser to send there

Disabling P2 on 5x1080ti (3 diff brands) nets me 1-2% increase in hashrate at expense of 2-3% power usage - not worth for me, especially that it matters mostly in memory intensive algorithms which, as all we know, 1080ti are lackluster with.
P0 it's a question of stability when working close to max. P2 will crash when miner exit, P0 won't.

So I had a three card riser-less build (well actually one was on a riser since the AORUS are huge, no issues with this setup) 1080 ti / 1080 ti / 1070 mini I moved to a 6 card riser build and now I have this issue . . any ideas? (1070 mini 1070 mini 1080 TI 1080 TI 1070 mini 1070 mini software or hardware and then what? This should be a 3k average sols rig Added more details below //// 2x 1080 TI + 1070 earning the same as 2x 1080 TI 4x 1070 (1.8k sol rig avg) 3k sol rig, avg 2.6k due to error, but its as if all 3 of the 1070s on the second PSU (connected add2psu PSU1 to mobo/cpu/all risers +pata to Add2psu / PSU2 mobo to add2psu+3x 1070 mini nvOC_19 on both . . Asked this in another thread but asking here as well if anyone could help me figure out what this issue is . .

P0 it's a question of stability when working close to max. P2 will crash when miner exit, P0 won't. Hello, this is my first post however I follow this forum from a while (and thanks for your shared experience ). So please be patient if I share too obvious things. I investigated the P states a bit earlier so let me share my experience. When you start or stop your miner then the GPU jumps to P0 for a second otherwise it runs in P2 during mining. The P2 state has lower frequency settings than P0. When you OC your card then you set offsets. When you start/stop then the GPU switches to P0 and the same offset is applied to the higher base frequency. This leads to crash as it is too much to the card. I have Asus 1080Ti Strix OC cards and EVGA 1080 (not Ti) FTW2 cards. With these cards I saw that the base core frequency is the same for P0/P2 but the memory is reduced to 5 GHz on the Asus and 4.5 Ghz on the EVGA. When I overclock the 1080Ti with +500 mem then it reaches the operation frequency (5.5 Ghz -> effectively 11 Ghz due to dual rate). So the OC sets the factory maximum in P2. You can check the absolute frequencies in Afterburner on Windows and with nvidia-smi on linux. The base frequencies mapped to the P states are burnt in so we cannot change them. The crash happens during the short P0 period when the GPU raises the memory frequency to the factory max, 5.5 GHz and it gets the OC offset as well which results 6 GHz which is too much to the GPU. Here you can read more: https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/1010856/linux/how-to-force-performance-level-3-driver-381-22-with-gtx-1080-ti-/3Nevertheless let me ask you how can you fix to the P0 (or any other) state on Pascal GPUs? I have both Windows and Linux machines so I'm interested in both OS.

Use Nvidia profile inspector to force p0. P0 is just to fix MC. So that it won't exceed stable MC on closing the miner. With P2 stable MC while running miner is 5800 (for example)?, and when closing miner for a short period it jumps to 6000 (for example) and driver crashes (or the whole system freeses). Thats all.
