What's everybodys thoughts on votecoin?
Been mining it, but difficulty / nethash is sky rocketing.

havent seen it yet myself ;p   i been just mining SIGT 50% hold 50% sell , tho im also mining one card on DGB, they apparently have some big news coming in the first few weeks of October, so im hoping for a rise to 600+ satoshis then ill sell my bag Cheesy

damn, we need a BSD Nvidia miner....
XLR dev set bounty on Xevan Nvidia miner since they moving to it in order to get MN working, maybe someone will do it, it's ~0.3 BTC if someone sell at sell wall.

Dosent matter now, profits are ded Sad (funny i had just mentioned it earlier haha)
SP made one and sold it to a private donator, if you look on yiimp you can see it Sad
based on alexis, looks like each card doing about 16mh/s, not sure WHAT cards, i would say 1080ti tho if someone had the BTC to buy it outright Sad

Yeah... AMD profits on BSD have dropped by about 66% for our rigs it looks like.... probably going to get worse to. I hate paid for miners..... at least release it for all with a few % dev fee if you want to.  A combined ~$1.4K bounty for it beween BSD and XLR ought to have been enough incentive as far as I'm concerned.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

You might want to see how you do just mining library credits for half a day, then make some calculations.  I've seen a chart where a 1080ti makes like 60 or 70 per month now doing that.

Right, so I finally managed to get Sniffdog to start the miner on my rig (someone should've told me I needed Cuda 9...). Now I'm not a whole lot further. ccminer just tells me this:

stratum connection failed: failed to connect to port 80: connection refused

-.-

I've let it through private networks in Windows firewall... Any ideas?

Desperately stuck with mining unknown coins for the 1080TIs now eh? Most available coins are no longer profitable enough for 1080TI compared to other GPUs.

Because of the high power consumption / power-profit ratio it appears mining is dead for the 1080ti. I'd rather sell my 1080TIs while they still have value then just buy the power efficient 1060. I mean come on, the 1060 is about 1/3 the price. You can buy 3 and double your ETH hash rate, for less power. Seems like a no-brainer.

The 1060s suck for everything else. You are way better off with rx 470s. And you can't get better hash/watt ratio than the 1080ti. But if you still want to sell them and buy 1060 PM me with a price I'll take them ;p

you probably need the money asap, most of us dont. We keep the coins until they reach a better price.

That card is obviously not for you. You should move on.

Your ti cards will lose 30% price max while those 1060 will lose more then 50% when mining dies in next year or two. Also eth isnt the only profitable coin to mine atm, there are still coins where ti can earn 3-5$ or more

ya not to mention you would need THREE times as many full rigs using 1060
what a stupid thing to say :  not profitable on 1080ti. dude, ALL other cards on current market will be unprofitable before 1080ti, 1060, lmao, whats that 50 cents a day per card, maybe a dollar? Cheesy
tht guy can have fun filling a wearhouse to make 60$ a day lol

It's important to mention that 1 year from now when Nvidia releases the next generation of cards, the 1080ti will be equivalent to a 2070, meanwhile the 1060 will be worse than a 2050

Why would they jump from 10xx series to 20xx?

well exactly, and i mean even looking at the 980ti right now, the "Ti" versions really seem to hold better value even 2 years later Smiley
AND 1070ti drops inna month, gonna make 1060 even more worthless Cheesy

not sure, but thats what i hear as well, Volta will be "20XX" series ;p  kinda weird, but w.e haha, marketing i assume maybe their way of saying volta is THAT MUCH NEXT LEVEL ;p ;p

GTX-1170 ? That make sense, unless Nvidia already announced the next cards.

Sorry guys for interrupting your discussion about volta in 1080ti thread, but maybe some one could tell me the max value of intensity for skunk algo in ccminer for 1080ti, since I think pretty old CPU in my RIG is the weakest chain in it and it reduce 1080ti's hashrate.
Thanks for info in advance Wink
