Thanks. I'll make better quality versions as soon as I can, but anyone with an artistic skill feel free to do the same.

Managed to mine a block overnight on an Athlon x2 270 dual core.

Tried for 3 hours this morning on a cc2.8xlarge Amazon EC2 Instance, and got nothing!
Not sure if I was doing anything wrong on the EC2 instance, i'd have expected something. Or have I missed the boat?

So I've stopped mining on both ATM.

Motivational donations gladly welcomed! :-)

Have you seen this thread where the YaCoin creator explains how it's resistant to GPUs?

I think that a successful decentralised currency must allow everyone to participate equally.  This really levels the playing field a lot and gives the average user some reason to participate in the network.  Very clever!

Yeah something is not right here, I have mined using the CMD before but this seems a little off. I have two Yacoin Icoins now on the taskbar and I have a 6 Core AMD CPU but the diff is 0.16 so maybe it is just a waiting game?
