is it working ?

The linux version works, and the windows one runs in wine (I don't have access to my win computer right now).

Upload somewhere else than MEGA if possible, that shitty service does not work with almost anything but Google Chrome. Thanks in advance!

I quite like MEGA, but here is a mediafire link: http://www.mediafire.com/?p58g618sqwl82i2

i got my first jay!! so thats why i am donating 50% of this blok to you Wink

minerd.exe -a scrypt-jane --s 6 --threads x --url 127.0.0.1:x --userpass x:x

RED: Number of threads
GREEN: The port you did set in yacoin.conf( C:\USERS\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Yacoin)
BROWN: The username and the password you did also set in yacoin.conf . They must be separate with a " : ".

why use minerd and not the yacoin-qt itself; is it faster?

Way more than an hr. It seems people underestimate the value of a block...... it's not meant to be mined easily... If it did, what would be the point?

Please stop mining this coin you are only subsidizing, with hard earned electricity, the small group who effectively pre-mined 2 million coins

ah okay.
just strange since when only using 3770 with the built in miner of yacoin-qt i got 4 block (1 orphant) for a total of 122 yacoin. within a couple of hours.
Would think that going from 100hash to 3-400 hash would make me hit something within an hour.

i see that the difficulty is really ramping, so that might be it=)

Edit: Some graphics. I give them away as Public Domain. I'll post a SVG if people seriusly wants to use them.

This is probably the _BEST_ logo I've seen for all cyptcoins including bitcoin.

Well done.  You are obviously talented.

Whose going to setup an official website for the most awesome YaCoin?

brother!
you have the same idea with me!
i make a site http://www.yacoin.org
but it's not good enough
maybe we can do it together!

Pass. I've no idea about web development.

Anyone else?  We gotta keep pushing this forward.  This is _key_ in any real success of the currency.

yes!
YAC is cooler than others!
CPU mining make more normal PC can join this currency!
so i am glad to help this currency better .

Have you seen this thread where the YaCoin creator explains how it's resistant to GPUs?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=199888.msg2083600#msg2083600

I think that a successful decentralised currency must allow everyone to participate equally.  This really levels the playing field a lot and gives the average user some reason to participate in the network.  Very clever!

so cool.
i love it.
i have puted it in yacoin.org

Are you sure it's working?  I don't see it there.
yes, there are more than 300 visitor
maybe my dns server not good
tomorrow i change it

I mean the logo.  I don't see it on your website. Smiley

oh
before the logo is confirmd by the pocopoco
maybe we should wait
haha

There was no premine.  You can still get coins by CPU mining, especially after next N shift when GPUs get screwed and CPUs are put back on level playing field.

I mined for hours with 1 thread on a  Core2Duo and absolutely nothing.  Maybe this processor is too slow.

I know that some people have had issues.  One of my friends had downloaded onto Win7, but the thing would not mine.  taskmgr showed all CPUs idle.  I think a bug, such this could be the issue.
