The more we see the problems with bitcoin the more prospects altcoins. It is quite logical. Of course only if they are modified in time and not to repeat the mistakes of bitcoin. Now we see how bitcoin is also constantly shared and transformed into altcoins.

I believe Bitcoin has a future in long term. It proved itself in the past years and it is getting widely popular. It just has a transaction fee problem atm.

What about the altcoins? Who does use them for real? Will people use them in the future for real purpose?

I only have a hope for ethereum and litecoin, but not for the rest. I am not even sure for eth and ltc.

If bitcoin solves the reansaction fee and time problem, I doubt eth and ltc even have a future.

I believe it has. In the near future modern banking and transactions are subject to innovation and modernization and I believe that altcoins will play a great part to it. Altcoin has its future and could also be the futureof money.

People are looking for a better alt coin than bitcoin as we are experiencing higher fees with bitcoin.

Alt coins do have a future and as there are companies that are trying to promote their services with those coins and supports it with their capital.

As long as it is getting a good and realistic market cap, that coin has a future.

My thoughts on altcoins? Only the strongest and the most useful will survive. Look at the altcoins that actually solve some problems of the world. Vitalik gave the opportunity to support these projects. We are just at the start!

In the emerging world of altcoins, etheruem will continue to rise. etheruem is much cheaper and faster in terms of transaction rather than bitcoin.it  has a potential to surpass bitcoin in near future.

agree with you.

I always invest in new coins after they pumped I take profit and go away.

We will have more new and sound better coins in the near future. No way you have to stick with an already pumped coin.

Altcoins really a future, though hopes are not too high.
In short term they will give you good returns, even better than bitcoins. But in long term there would be two things;
1. Bitcoin will outperform all the altcoins.
2. 99% of the altcoins will become worthless and die due to lack of support or developer abandoning the project.
There is actually two type of possibilities that might happen to all altcoin in the market. Just always consider that in order for us to maintain the price of a specific altcoin you must consider on being a part of the project of the ICO specially on advertising the altcoin. So if you are going to invest on altcoin it is much better to apply on a signature campaign where you could actually earn new token in a part of supporting the ICO for it to achieved success and for it to developed in the market.

As we get close to the next bitcoin hard fork, I believe the value of altcoins will deflate. People will try to sell their altcoins in order to get more bitcoin to get benefit from the possible forked bitcoin. This will create a hude dump wave on the market for alts.

For me, not only altcoins have a future, all coins have a future especially bitcoin, We all know that bitcoin is the strongest amongst. Altcoin can also trade and become bitcoin, Back to the topic, Yes, Altcoins really have a future and there are many people also become rich by means of using altcoins. Depends on a person where they want to use their altcoins.

What you say on bitcoin I agree.

But not with allcoin, I think it depends on how alcoin or say another coin can give investor confidence.

Giving hope of new hope, perhaps with features, innovation, security, convenience, and profit. It could be the main point of attracting public sympathy for investment.

I agree with what you say. only a few altcoins are able to survive,

but do not close the possibility for all things, for example maybe the bitcoin becomes chaotic and fall. This can increase the value for allcoin, either which coin will rise.
it's just a matter of time we never know what will happen in the future.

In my opinion, Altcoins are the future channels in many industries. Like now, major banks have expressed interest to adapt blockchain technology for doing transactions. Others like in gaming is also incorporating the blockchain to enhance the gaming experience of users.

I think in short term every thing is possible as we experienced high increase in prices of most of major altcoins such as Ethereum. But in long term everything depends on what will happen to Bitcoin.
In my opinion in future we will have only one acceptable cryptocurrency. If Bitcoin can solve its problems like high transaction fees that you mentioned, It will be that cryptocurrency. If not we should wait for another cryptocurrecncy that will replace Bitcoin.
We should also consider another important issue which is governments decisions. In future after accepting bitcoins by entire world, Governments would like to have more control on the system. We should wait for their decision whether they want bitcoin to be that major cryptocurrency or not.
I think that bitcoin partially solved its problems on August 01. Therefore, there is no need to replace it with another crypto currency. As for its recognition by the governments of different countries, there has never been unity among them. Although it should be noted that for this period it has already been recognized or already positively solved this issue among developed countries with a strong economy - the US, Russia, China, Japan, etc. In this regard, it seems to me that bitcoin will retain its leadership positions among the crypto currency and further.
