I believe Bitcoin has a future in long term. It proved itself in the past years and it is getting widely popular. It just has a transaction fee problem atm.

What about the altcoins? Who does use them for real? Will people use them in the future for real purpose?

I only have a hope for ethereum and litecoin, but not for the rest. I am not even sure for eth and ltc.

If bitcoin solves the reansaction fee and time problem, I doubt eth and ltc even have a future.

Yes for me of course it does have a future. Knowing that altcoins is getting popular nowadays. Especially ethereum, they built a new a better image of the altcoins their potential is almost like the bitcoins. Some investors of bitcoins are also investing on ethereum. Because ethereum is just like a successor of bitcoins. And I know in the future, they will grow just like what bitcoins had achieved. But in that time bitcoins is way to far from them.
You know cryptoworld began to happen in various corners of the world. start from bitcoin spread and then many of them start to recognize cryptocurrency deeper in particular alternative coin. you can see altcoin markets such as etherum, dash, ripple, etc getting bigger. even ICO even has a huge turnover of money. This proves that altcoin has a bright future..

There are infinite purposes of use for altcoins. All altcoins that offer useful stuff can have a future. Smiley

Maybe in the long run all can happen because bitcoin has a high price increase from year to year as it buys, hopefully next year bitcoin will increase.

I think some of them do but a lot of them don't.  I don't buy the whole "BTC is the only crypto with staying power argument.  Don't ask me which altcoins will be around in ten years though!

For me its yes, although a lot of it are just shit coins but there are still coins that are successful that have a future. Just like ethereum. That is a very successful altcoin and for me, it had a lot of potential. In fact, I see bitcoins in them before, but we all know that ethereum cannot surpass bitcoins because bitcoins are too far to reach. They might inflate as rime goes by but if that happens bitcoins value also inflates. But when you talk about altcoins. That would be ethereum, a great investment for me if you are looking for altcoins.

Just as cryptos have a future, altcoins do too. What is important is the coin's use and practicality. Be wary of scams.

Altcoin really have a bright and good future yes let say some of altcoin like ripple, dash and some altcoin that in a top 10 list are dont see a little potential because as we can see the value of it are very far for the value that bitcoin has but when then time of altcoin comes that s we can see the value and potential and we can see that altcoin can really have a bright future.

I think yes, at least one of them. Bitcoin still is the best, but the other is good too. If Bitcoin's price is too high, we can buy and invest in other crypto. If the Bitcoin mining is dead, we can mine other cryptos. See ? The Bitcoin price will become so high that only the rich can buy and invest. But other crypto can still be a solution for people like me who want to invest and start learning about the crypto world.

There are very few altcoins that have a good future and will survive in a long term as you cannot trust each and every coin that it will shine in future and many of them will disappear if anything goes wrong but I truly believe that Ethereum would be the best altcoin in future.

Altcoin are the future. The flexibility and usability of alt is to glaring. Many alt these days are not pretending to function as a currency. But much more, alt are providing better way of finance, pention insurance.

Yes we have a more than 100 altcoins in the market, and daily new coins are coming to the market in that only a few coins will stand for a long time rest of all will disappear after collecting money from investors. So anytime you are going to invest in altcoins prefer first 20 coins and check the history of the coin when they came and how's their project is going on after verifying everything you can invest your money.

I also believe that bitcoin has a good future. But I think that can only compete with ETH bitcoin in my mind. alcoin will remain exis along with bitcoin especially ETH.

I think of the many altcoins that keep coming each time it proves that the need for altcoin continues to increase, even if some are dead, disappeared or scam, but keep coming altcoin this means every dev get big funds from investors means there are many investors who are in cryptocurrency right ? and will always increase, altcoin has a beautiful future i think
