Do Altcoins really have a future?

I believe Bitcoin has a future in long term. It proved itself in the past years and it is getting widely popular. It just has a transaction fee problem atm.

What about the altcoins? Who does use them for real? Will people use them in the future for real purpose?

I only have a hope for ethereum and litecoin, but not for the rest. I am not even sure for eth and ltc.

If bitcoin solves the reansaction fee and time problem, I doubt eth and ltc even have a future.

most of the people interested to doing alt coins trading. in market who starting coins trading they can first buying alt coins only. so they get one idea on bit coins. and alt coins has great demand present. so we have to try once it. really alt coins giving to us more profit so we have to choose one of the best alt coins trading and buy more number of coins and keep hold it. next see how you earning profit.

You must to remember the altcoin market need to has bullish trend if you want to make profits from this market, else altcoin can not make more profits than Bitcoin market. Example now, I still trading Bitcoin and USDT instead of trading Bitcoin and Altcoin, because most of altcoin are decreasing and I do not want to try high risk on them.

At the current time, seeing what altcoins are providing, I don't think they will have such a future and growth like bitcoin has managed to have, but the altcoins will surely bear fruits in the near future, I hope.

why not? altcoin has many different types and different price variations and functional. Bitcoin is not ideal.

I see alt-coins being a like a specific business currency, as you can see, some websites and services like facebook, steam,etc.. are using currency, facebook specifically has facebook tokens and I can see them creatingtheir own coin to be used in those purposes. That would make them money and would open up a few more possibilites. That's unleast what I see for many alt-coin and the rest with be there just as they are now.

You are right! Most of these altcoins have a targeted field and looking at how they can use the coin to disrupt those fields based on how people can pay. For example a Tio token has been making some pretty big move to disrupt the tour industry with their coins and after looking into the project, the team and how far and fast they have gone, it is going to make some pretty big impact in that tour industry. There are so many of these coins too and I can tell you their future is going to be marvelous.

Yes, altcoins do have a future, if you look at it, whenever bitcoin is going down, altcoins do go up, and still is bein use as currency, however, we are still about to see some altcoins to rise above the occassion, before ethereum very promising, then came along bitcoin cash, which also did gain an amount almost the same with ethereum, however still so far behind bitcoin. In my opinion, it has also a good future just like Bitcoin. As of this moment, Altcoin is known for its best at short-term investment which gives huge profit to the investors. One good example is Etherium which its value is continuously increasing due to the increase on its demand resulted from being more oftenly used in ICOs. I believe that if it won't be Etherium, there'll be another alt that will match up qith Bitcoin in the future.

I think altcoins can be used for a lot of different things. The coins that focus on gaming communities can be cool projects to follow. They might not get a market cap in the likes of ETH or such, but I think they have a good concept. That's what I'm betting on now, devs and concept. Ark also seem like they have some good things going on. Also there's a ICO coming up that claims to have very fast and cheap transactions. It could very well be the altcoin that is needed for day to day use. If you see my avatar and signature you'll see DeepOnion, which is also a very nice project. Privacy is worth a lot of money to a lot of people, and this coin could fill that market.

As the name itself, Altcoin is alternative to bitcoin. My understanding is that it is made so that in the absence of bitcoin, you can also use other cryptos which has a lower value than bitcoin.
I think its usage is just like a token in a casino, before you can play, you will have to buy their own tokens which is exclusively used only in that particular casino.
