This is not a difficult decision a person should be given a 3rd degree torcher because death is a simple thing but torturing him will tell him the pain.

In normal circumstances I am against torture. But against rapists and pedophiles, torture is a viable option. But here the problem is that if the perpetrator is tortured, the victim is not gaining anything. So I have a better proposition. Why can't we send these people to some penal colony, where they will do hard labor for 18 or 20 hours (like in North Korea)? Whatever revenue generated as a result can be given to the victim.

Very good suggestion from you friend, But I think it's necessary that the victim undergo a counceling regarding that matter. Because of my own experience I have know victims who don't want to accept anything from suspect. They say they just remember bitter things when they get things from suspect because they remember them.

Life of a girl comes with so many hopes,smiles and a great value. Just think how many days have her parents suffer to make her happy. A girl's parents would do any thing to make her life success and to give her a great future. Suddenly some bastard comes and rape her. How many life has he destroyed? more than 3 lives. Girl, her mother and her her father. How could the law restore the effort they all spent on girl's life so far? It is impossible! The time, the effort, the money , the sacrifices can not be restored. I Disagree why does people or cops let rapist freely if that people are did a very punishable crime?  For me what is the best is penalty for rapist is stone to death or cut her head in public.

Being a female, I can understand that. In such cases, the funds must be deposited in some bank account and the victim can use it anytime in the future for educational expenses or medical emergencies. May be after 10-15 years, the victim may be able to move on and she may be ready to accept the money.

Rape is a crime. It is a beast, not a human being. This crime deserves severe punishment of the law. It is an unforgettable phobia. It is a nightmare for those who encounter this. This sin can not forgive those crazy people. They desire sex.

Death penalty seems a tad too harsh for me. They have to be registered their whereabouts have to be tracked if they are released after serving their term, the neighbours have to be alerted of their presence.
Rapists should be properly dealt with according to the established laws. The problem in most asian countries is that rapists hardly serve their jail terms, they either walk scot free because of their political affiliations, or they are released on bail. If they are properly dealt with, it will definitely discourage random assailants.
I severely condemn marrying victims off to their perpetrators, it's ridiculous in my opinion. Imagine having to live off your entire life with someone you absolutely despise.
