Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I changed to cast xmr from xmr stak.
Much more simpler and steady hashrate. Hashrate is definitely higher than xmr stak at the same power useage.
Cast xmr , latest drivers 1750hs for each vega56 @140w at the wall
I'm getting 1850h/s with sapphire pulse vega56 (hynix) 1456/970@0.875v 140watt according to corsair link
SrbMiner

What are your thoughts on Srb? Last I looked it appeared to be the easiest implementation for CnoteHeavy.

I really like it. My aio vegas 64 (Samsung) are doing 2100h/s (crptnhtv7). For heavy I use my old Polaris cards, they look more efficient ...

Vega 56 1475/1100 Mhz @ 881mV (bios mod to V64)
Cryptonight v7 hashrate of 2020 H/s and cryptonight heavy 1475 H/s using SRB miner on Adrenalin 18.3.4 drivers.

p.s I was getting 1960-1965 on xmr-stak

So far SRB miner has been rocking all Cryptonight algos for me on both Polaris and Vega.

I really like SRBMiner a lot. I hated Cast XMR because I always got horrible good shares vs bad shares sumbited. XMR stak never had any bad share errors at all. SRB works great just like XMR stak with a slight boost in performance. Much easier to use aswell. There's a good video on youtube explaining how to set it up.

Can you tell me your Hs/Watt? Im currently at 1789 hs / 138 w on hwinfo64 - stable. Running Gigabyte oc vega 56 stock(hynix?) on Adrenalin 18.3.4 drivers. HBM temp at 56. (cant post pool 24 hrs confirmation since my miner recently switched to new one.)

Also for some reason my vega wont use fan rpm from overdrive. Is it because i tweaked my powerplay table?

I have 6x sapphire vega 56 (Nitro+ with 3 fans) Hynix memory and two of them won't get same hashrate as others.
https://prnt.sc/j85b69

They are all on same setup, 900Mhz memory. Although after few hours those two drop to 800Mhz (stock).

I use srbminer. Any ideas how to get higher hashrates for all cards and why are those two dropping in hashrate that much?

1. disable/enable vega in device manager.
2. Check HBM segment is off. When miner starts vega's name must be gfx900(not gfx901).
3. double check miner settings.
3. set target temp to 55.

Last time i measured it was 160w at wall.  On HWinfo it shows as 120w odd avg.

Yea I noticed the fan settings aren't used from Overdrive.  I didn't pay too much attention to it as the temps are alright.

Card recognized as gfx900 has lots of more trouble mining.
I do have 6 identical Sapphire 64 and one was identified as gfx900 by xmr-stak. SRBMiner identified all as gfx901.
Only few cards are identified as 900 and no one really knows why cuz ive already asked around in several places.

To the guy above, yes, you need to add 30 to 40W to any software measurement. This is old news.

gfx900 means that HBCC memory is turned off

Why would you need to switch HBCC off and on? All you need is to keep it on all the time for higher hash rates.

You can automate the processes of turning it on/off using scripts like the one found in this guide: http://vega.miningguides.com/p/auto-run-miner-without-hashmonitor.html

You're so missinformed  Grin. The whole HBCC (HBCC was never the problem) thing started in early october of 2017. Do a little more research.

It's been like 7 months lmao.

The question is which card will you buy, I mean is it reference version or version form asus and sapphire, cause they are different from each other?  I have vega from gigabyte but that is simple reference version build by amd.
I was lucky to have Samsung memory on that board..

Thanks
