Maybe the date will change. The fist date was 12 july. Before 1 or 2 weeks the dev team change it to 1 Sep. So maybe they do it again.

It seems that his last post was on the 28th of last month. So he probably knew that he wasn't going to qualify for this week, or was black listed. Wonder what was the reason for the lack of posting. And why dump it all at once, bringing the price down, instead of taking it out bit by bit. Why not hold, with the future of DeepOnion, things were only going to get better.

Edit: He was also a one day poster for that week, so was probably banned.

Shame people who have received so many coins would suddenly dump, I agree with others that the timing is odd, why dump when your 12 hours away from another Airdrop.

The coin has a great active development team and will surely rise greatly once its on an exchange that allows buyers to participate.

Have a question. My wallet has a status "wallet is encrypted and unlocked for staking only". Can I send ONIONS to this wallet from exchanges or receive it from someone? I would not want to lose coins.  
And if the coins succefully go to wallet, does the stacking continue or the counter starts again?

Yes，your wallet can receive onions from exchange or others as long as you put in the correct address when you send onions.
The staking for existing onions in your wallet will continue. The onions just transferred to your wallet will have to wait to become mature before they start staking.

It going to get harder for some people not to dump their coins. We're getting into the 12th Round now of airdrops. Some people have a full bitcoin worth(8k-9k) of $ONIONs. Imagine week 20  Hopefully, the community will take us to the moon and those dumpers will regret. I'm still HODLing though.

i'm not worried, i'm a holder. i just don't get why? and so close to the next airdrop too.

I could think of a few reasons. Perhaps an accident, or another urgent need for quick money. Perhaps giving in to FUD, or maybe they just want to jump on an ICO that seems like a better chance to them.

Crypto is a wild place that nobody can fully predict. So there'll be a lot of different strategies on how to act in this market.
Can't really tell them they're definitely wrong until the future becomes present and past.

I'm personally in the hodl camp since the worst case scenario of losing everything by hodling is nothing compared to the moon potential and I still can't see any reason for failure based on the amount of effort that the devs and community are putting in.

But I can't really judge anyone for dumping either. It's very easy to get emotional in this market, especially if the amount of money is "a lot" to some.

My portfolio regularly swings up and down by multiple years worth of full-time salary, so I can see how people would panic and become impulsive.

That's why I decide what I'm going to do before I even start playing, and then don't move away from my strategy whatsoever. If I lose I can always blame my past self and then use that experience for future actions. Most people don't do this though, and think purely in the present.

Either way, let's hope for the best for everyone, dumper or hodler alike. Maybe the dumpers will come back one day once we start mooning. And if not let's just hope that nothing seriously bad happened in their life that would cause them to dump.
