Second week in a row I have not received an air drop I thought last week it was because of a couple posts that were deleted but now I am truly at a loss on what happened. I am very upset about this, I have been here since almost the beginning. What can I do to find out for sure?? I really don't know what to do!  What can I say? Xsinx is very busy. I buy Onions on a regular basis never sold one Onion. I am truly saddened by this black listing. I think this may be why we are seeing some people sell off their Onions. Hello cyberpitstop. I know that you have a long time with us but I can see that last week most of your posts were not enough (quality post). Try to improve on them and visit us more in our forum. Help in any way you can to create a better community and you will be able to join again soon. I hope you can make that little effort to see you with us again. |

I've just received my onions ( + 738.55243722), thanks to all community.  Didn't sell any onions. Just HODL it. And you should be greedy when price is very low. Congrats! I received the same amount as well.  Never sell a single Onion. I dont want to even touch my wallet and mess up anything. |

Because rule says: If you miss the requirements for one week, you will be excluded from only that week’s distribution. If you miss requirements for three (3) cumulative weeks, you will be excluded from future distributions forever!So you had time to understand that the quality of your messages was low. Messages on the forum are checked by the robot, you didn't pass the test. |

Hello AltsBoom. I think your problem was in the last week, your quality post is not enough. You should improve your number and post quality here in Bitcointalk, perhaps trying to support more Deep Onion and focusing on ways to help our community could give you a better chance to reapply Airdrops. I also recommend you visit more often our Forum. I can see that you have a lot of Airdrops, so keep working and you should be able to rejoin if you can make a little effort. Hope you can be accepted again and I wish you the best. Yes I think vaas has got it correct. Seeing you have been here since beginning means you are strong hand and good for community but unfortunately posts and support for DO project does not seen like enough. If willing to put some effort in I think the mods and the devs will surely reconsider. I just joined for my first drop which I am really excited about and I cant wait to get more involved in this close nit community! Ahhh soo excited!! |

Not necessarily. There's an advantage to having anonymous DEV team that is rarely mentioned in these discussions. The thing is non-anonymous teams could become a target of potential legal action from governments all around the world. I mean, the blockchains' main defensive mechanism against governmental regulations is unenforceability. Cryptocurrencies were intentionally designed to make it as hard as possible for any regulation authority to interfere with the transfer of value that happens on blockchains. As a government, you can't reverse transaction, you can't seize funds and you certainly can't bring legal action against decentralized peer-to-peer network. But you can bring legal action developers and by doing so force them to change their creation to be more complied with government regulation. In a way, non-anonymous dev is actually a threat to the entire ecosystem. |

Good day all, DeepOnion is leading the vote for the listing on bittrex.
Meanwhile i took the time to talk to Julian (the dev behind the code review when a gets listed on bittrex) and here's what he said on discord:
gigabyted: @jyap quick question man, when a coin gets added the bittrex, you need to have the identity of the developpers that are behind right?
gigabyted: A purely anonymous team cant get its coin on it, too much risk

Uh oh... Yes this could be a great thing, but do we see this happening? Backbone being of the coin is anonymity, this could be a road block for us Anonymity of the users is the primary objective of the coin. I don't see how anonymity of the developer makes any difference. If you don't blame car manufacturer for wrecks than the developer shouldn't be liable for end users actions either. |

so it looks to me like a few new members have just dumped their free coins. while we should not be worried about it, it does really annoy me. they get accepted and just dump the lot
Yeah it annoys me also, i didn't get accepted even though i write more than 10 posts per week and meet all the requirements. Just on the sign-up form i didn't put my address where the xxxx was. But theres no support no matter how hard you try and contact people. So even after joining the slack, messaging/replying in all the threads i can't get into the airdrop than those ppl just get it and dump it with no loyalty to DO at all. sickening all right! Maybe they should get half the airdrop amount just to see if they will hold or not for first few airdrops? |
