Can i put a DeepOnion Jr signature to my profile even though I am not an airdrop participant?  OR will it get me blacklisted when i apply for airdrop later when i am eligible? I want to participate in the airdrop as soon as i become eligible  No wait, wait. I see the current price of deeponion as a great opportunity to buy, of course novaexchange does not have much volume but it is clear that the price is very very low, buy onions that can now !!!!
Yes that is true, this bear-dumping trend has been now lasting for a while and i am afraid it is not over yet. Its not the price that what worries me, it the buy ask volume that is keep getting lower and lower. It's surely does not bring confidence among investors. |

Its not the price that what worries me, it the buy ask volume that is keep getting lower and lower. It's surely does not bring confidence among investors. We don't need to be worried about the price at all, we're still on the 13rd week of the airdrops. Even if DeepOnion went straight down to $0.01 I would never worry myself. The product is still being developed, there's so much ahead of us! Also, wait for the airdrops to be finished. New exchanges will then come and people will start investing in DO |

People are riding the BTC wave prior to the split by getting out of whatever alts they were holding. 13-14 days till the split, then alts should bounce back I have heard the split is actually projected on or around October 24th, so it might not be that much longer. The alt markets should recover quite a bit after that. Good time to gather some Onions. |

Till now, I have participated in a total of 6 airdrop rounds, and have received a total of 4,069 coins. And I haven't sold a single coin as of yet. My target is $100 per onion and I am going to wait until that target is achieved. You're even more optimistic than me. I'll wait for at least $ 20 per coin. And I think that price will be in this time next year Why wait for the $ 20 while all the people in the community, and those outside know that the onion will do better than its direct competitor, Monero. When you know that Monero is actually 93$, imagine how much the onion will, knowing that it is much more reliable and offers much more possibility. For me, sell the onion 20$ it's given I know that, also have lots of monero in past. But for that price need about two years. And I think to split sum and 1/3 sell on end of 2018, 1/3 end of 2019 end last 1/3 for 2020. Dont want to repeate errors from past. So i ment to start from 20$, not to sell all. My plans are quite different from yours. My starting point may be any price between $50 to $200 (I am 100% sure that Onion exchange rates will reach this mark within the next 1-2 years). Once the target is achieved, I will be selling a maximum of 10% of my coins every year. |

Getting more and more interested in the proof of stake concept. The whole 10 % PoS interest in the first year is applicable only in case of 24/7 staking? If I stake for example just 12 hours per day, the interest will be only 5 %, does it work like this? Or is it more complex and if I stake at time when the network weight is below average, then it would be more than 5 % in case of 12 hours staking per day?
I believe you can "collect" stakes while offline, but only up to like a week. So you would get more than 5% if you staked 12 hours daily. Not sure if you'd get the full 10%, but I do think so. Hopefully someone can clear this up for sure though. Any staking expert here who can clarify my questions above? Just thinking that this type of specific questions might be more suitable for some thread on the official DO forum. On the other hand, this general thread has more readers and the answer might be interesting for some of them as well. Obviously, both options have pros and cons, but I should explore the official forum deeper anyway, it´s a very interesting place  |

You will be a junior member in less than a month. But the problem is the date you registered on bitcointalk. You have to be registered on bitcointalk before September 1 to be eligible for the airdrop. But hopefully, they will change the rules and you can participate in the airdrop by the time you become a junior member. |

I guess the biggest problem is going to be the fact that he will be denied for reasons. DeepOnion is very picky with applications for the airdrop registration. I am still waiting to be de-blacklisted. The Support ticket system and reaction time of DeepOnion Moderators has been great though. Fast, friendly and helpful. |
