I hear from friend of mine about DeepOnion and I like to join such a great community

Hey guys, For those of you just waking up, we have a new update to the official DeepOnion Wallet - 1.3.1 - https://deeponion.org/community/posts/68004/It fixes a few bugs, and makes a few improvements to the UI to ensure by default all files are accessible for verification, regardless of their wallet address. While not mandatory, if you're using DV (and you should) then it is advisable to upgrade. Great work Dev team! |

The DeepOnion forum is growing in an astonishing speed as both members and devs are contributing to it's evolution. New wallet is up and running. No issues so far. Sync and staking are working as they should.
You just need to download zip file, extract it and run DeepOnion-qt.exe.
Make a backup before if you want to be safe.

I didn't planned to participate at first, but as I read pages and pages for this coin I realize that I was stupid even thinking about that.
Looks like I can't participate for now or is this definite decision?
Because I am registered after 1 September.

Looks like I can't participate for now or is this definite decision?
Because I am registered after 1 September.

Recently, onions have been trading at a low volume at nova. I think maybe we are too close to the market, or too much attention to the market price. This is due to the bitcoin hard fork. If you sell off all your coins for BTC when the fork occurs not only go keep your BTC you also get the equivalent in BTG. So if you have 1 BTC before the fork, after the fork you will have 1 BTC and 1 BTG (as long as you have the private key for your wallet, so not if it's in an exchange, the exchange gets it!) The fork is causing altcoin-BTC markets to drop, but the USD-BTC market to rise. Life will be good again after the fork and until we near the next one! Yeah, these recent and future BTC forks are really hurting altcoin values. Most of them are decreasing in value (not only vs BTC but also vs FIAT) because most of the people are trying to buy BTC to get bonus coins after fork. Alts usually bounce back after the fork but not all of them, and very often not to the previous value. if it's because of btc fork, then btc price must be up and up. however, btc price had risen to 5800 then falls to 5100 now. i think there's other reason why altcoins prices going down. maybe some holders are already taking profit now by selling their btc which they got at lower prices. |
