I am now sure that investment to bitcoin and different ICO with more trust factor we can gain thousands of dollars each week or month depending on how perfect you handle the whole thing. So yeah we must hold the coins that we invest in, as they are going to grow at some point for sure. :-)

I do sincerely hope that the ICOs you advise are not with companies registered in China? Of course you know about the stringent Chinese regulations and ban hitting so many exchanges now with investors losing money. I am affected too.

Its like that I trade etherium when the price is 0.14 then its going down and down into 0.7, 2 months that I hold never going up, I should cut my loses. Well you should never hold altcoins for long trade only for short trade.
Your mistake was not to hold altcoins your mistake was to buy at an all time high, if you instead avoided buying at that time and bought today you will have great chances of profiting in the next months, but if you decide to hold I think you are going to need to wait a few years before we see a price as high as the one we saw a few months ago for ETH.

No one knows for certain that after a coin hits ATH that it won't break the resistance and soar more. So, the advice of don't buy high is merely a suggestion. We only get to know that we actually bought it sold when we shouldn't from hindsight after the lagging indicators would've drawn up setups after the trades.
No one knows for sure but there are indicators that suggest that you should no longer buy, and when an all time high is reached the indicators are there, but people decide to ignore them because they think the price is going to keep skyrocketing until it does not, anyway ETH is going to change to Proof of Stake in the future maybe that will make the price go higher if people agree with that change.

I also completely agree with you and I want to say that buying Bitcoin will never be too late. The fact is that the prospects for crypto currency are very large and if you look at the research of specialists, the price for Bitcoin in reality can be very large zeros.

The problem is not that it's too late to buy Bitcoin but how strongly are you to hold Bitcoin. I believe the price of Bitcoin will be very expensive one day, but for now the price of Bitcoin is very unstable. we see last week Bitcoin price reached $ 5K and yesterday down to $ 3.4K in this situation your mental will be tested. Because many people who suffered losses because of panic selling.

I have recently took investing on poloniex serious. Ever since I've invested the alt coins have been down. Do the amount of coins I posses go up if I stay. Also, do I have to wait for the coins to go back to their original price that I bought fo in order to make a profit? What are the reasons to holding if prices are down? Thank-you.

Actually none can say you what you do.because people dont know which coin you will buy. its depends on your tradding analysis. And you must need to know that their is gurantee in alt coin investment. But in my experience if you want to get profit you must need to hold after buying any coin.
Bitcoins are now recovering their prices and indeed those who are giving up on their bitcoins right now are in loss because soon bitcoins are about to reach 5k dollars and it would be really tough to buy bitcoins at that time. Panic selling is not an option with bitcoins.

If you do not need that much money, you will probably going to hold. Because there are a bigger chance that the value of it will rise. But if you are talking abount the bounty rewards. I'm telling you to hold it when you rhink that the value is too low. Then if the value was high sell it already and convert it to bitcoins. After that hold your bitcoins bot your bounty reward bwcause bounty rewards have a lot of chance to fall rather than bitcoins. Truat mw I've gone through that before and I almost get a shit value.

it depends on your analysis..always holding is good.if the coin price is down waiting for target price.take the risk.there are so called correction price.
Holding coins especially bitcoins have never ever turned out to be a wrong decision. You are always in profit when bitcoins are taking rides to moon. We all know that bitcoins’ prices do grow with time and patience do pay us off in the form of enormous profits. Holding is best if you are working with bitcoins.

Dipping of prices is a very common occurrence here in the cryptocurrency world, sir. If you react by selling every time there is a dip, you might just end up losing all your investment capital. The reason for holding is that the line downwards is not going to be a straight line forever. It will go up after that.
Very well said! I think you need not to worry much with this dip. This is quite a normal thing and thing will not long forever as you said. Holding will be the most appropriate option in this scenario. On the other hand, if you decide to sell your Bitcoins right now, you will end up in loss.

If I think you should keep it when the price goes down so that the ghost does not make a severe disappointment yourself if in the end the price can go up significantly but you have to rush to sell it. Surely it will make big losses.

Think about it. If you don't hold, If I don't hold, If he doesn't hold... How can we ever go to the moon? Somebody has to hold. Are we going down? Maybe. Personally I can afford to go down till it reaches sub 1000$. Why? Because I purchased most of my coins from that price!!

Actually I can even tolerate to sub 200$'s. And I still won't dump. See? People like me got high pain tolerance. Because only %7 (not that small Dollar wise)  of my wealth is in bitcoin. If It were %100, I would be eating my room's walls with every passing minute.  Grin
Bitcoin system also ned the capaibitly for stabilization of the stock of bitcoin for transaction that hava a vital role for Bitcoin development and innovation. The best thing do is to support Bitcoin in dealing with daily transaction with the used of Bitcoin and also hold as a part of trading investments that could actually regulates the bitcoin stock price on the market.

I think if you hold it and keep waiting for the price to rebound it may take a long time, but if you believe it will get back to the starting price you bought or it could be more improved it is better, but there are times when we have to face some risk by selling it and wait for the price to get to the lowest point and start buying it again at a cheap price and hold it for sale when the price goes back up, that's what I do if the price goes down I take some losses to make a profit
That totally depends on the coin you are holding. Some coins take a longer time to recover from dips due to the level of support it has, some takes very little time before they recover. Usually, if you are sure the coin you are holding has good support, it is better to hold than sell when you are losing.

Some coins are good for long term investment. Some are just for short term investment. And some are for just PND. So first classify your coins or the coin that you want to invest in if it is for short term, long term or for just one day. If you are new to the crypto world like me, maybe you should wait and hold for the price to go back on its original price. Don't sell it in loss. And I suggest that you make a reasearch about your coins, if there is a news or updates about their development. Because it will help the price to go up. If you noticed that the coin is not good and just hype their coin, you may cut your losses to avoid rekt.

If the coins you hold are on poloniex list, you don't have to worry, because altcoin available on trading list is a result of rigorous selection. No need to panic, even if price falls significantly. Let alone, later if it's time surely he will jump high and your investment also brings benefits.

it depends on the altcoin. if it rises and you think that you are contented with you profit then sell.
And when it keeps dropping until the point you are not sure it will rise again? What will you then do? Most people have forgotten that as long as holding a particular altcoin is the safest way to trade, it is important to always monitor and follow the news on that specific altcoin you are holding. I have had instances that I got news late and I ended up loosing on a coin as it never came back up again.
