I have recently took investing on poloniex serious. Ever since I've invested the alt coins have been down. Do the amount of coins I posses go up if I stay. Also, do I have to wait for the coins to go back to their original price that I bought fo in order to make a profit? What are the reasons to holding if prices are down? Thank-you.

I think you should probably hold onto it for a while, the price would probably increase eventually. The thing is it’s really hard to figure out whether the price will increase once again. I have a friend who had waited for 3 months just to wait the increase, but it’s worth it.

Do the amount of coins I posses go up if I stay. - It will not depend if you stay. It's depend on how volume will build up again on the coins you are holding.

Do I have to wait for the coins to go back to their original price that I bought in order to make a profit? - No. There are so called correction price. Sometimes waiting for target price can ruined your trading plan and strategy. Take the risk.

What are the reasons of holding if prices are down? - Well you don't want to sold your coins on much lowered price than you bought it.

Patience is the key. Altcoin price come and go but there are alts that can be considered as good for long term holding.

Here I would like to suggest you that you should hold those coins for the proper time to reach the price and then sell at profit .
Here it is your good decision to make seriously inves in the poloniex because investment is really a more better option to invest then to have loss in anyways .
Here I myself have invested in the poloniex about of $1k which is really a profitbale thing , but we should have also multiple Coins ( bitcoin , ehterium , dash , litecoin ) Because sometimes interest we can get more for another another coins at different different times .
And also here you have another option of the investment at the yobit.net where you will get daily 0.2% or even more Daily for different different coins .

For me, holding right now is the best strategy. So far bitcoin prices are pretty much still going up and well I don't think it will go down in the coming weeks. But when it does reach something like $10,000 USD each then it will likely correct and prices will go down by suddenly. If it does reach that point before it goes down I will likely buy cheap alts. Something like ETH, DOGE, WAVES, all of those that I think will go up. Since like DOGE, it is now at it's ATL. ETH is pretty cheap right now too.

Exactly holding is better but you must keep on check what coin you are going to invest in or trade in. for all coins that have good potential in international market and since you don’t know much about all of them. Generally hold them until you reach a profit is the idea. However, sometimes when you have took too much a loss and you see a potential better gain, sometimes this makes sense to go with instead and cut your losses. It just really depends on the current situation

Yep! There is no doubt in this fact that it is a time to purchase new bitcoin because at present the prices are quite low and many bitcoin holders are in the position of buying bitcoin at this price. On the other hand, as you said this is not the time to sell of bitcoin because it is supposed to bounce back harder by the end of year. So hold bitcoin if you have any to be part of the mega celebration.

I can hardly find any person living on this earth who will be unhappy with holding of bitcoin. The only reason to hold any coin in the world is the hope that it it will increase in the future. And if a clever investor will invest in a good coin than he will surely get a high amount of profit from the coin. But blind investment will never give you income. Investing in bitcoin will be my advice as I surely can say that one-day bitcoin will become a global currency. Bitcoin is also tremendously increasing now and its estimated value at the end of 2018 is $15000.

Alltime i try to learn about hold. i think hold some potential coin is better than all other business.
you need to hold it until you earn it.

Holding till the end of the year is the best thing to do at a moment as price can reach to $10k at the end of next month and if you are holding till that time then you can expect higher profits by selling at that price and along with bitcoins I also holding ethereum as it will also surprise us in coming months.

Proper moneymanagement will help you survive volatility in the currency market. You do not care if you have additional income, other than income from speculation. It's not forex. It's like a stock market where stocks will not fall to zero. Only if the issuer does not go scam...

You need to know how to properly handle you money or your btc. You must always remember to "buy low and sell high" but i guess you could buy anytime even though the price is high because however unstable the price of bitcoin is, it will continue to rise up. And when the time comes it will be a great thing for it's users.

The reason you need to hold bitcoin when price is low or down because you cannot gain profit if you sell your bitcoin when its price is low. Actually it doesn't mean that if the bitcoin price will not go back to its original price when you bought it, doesn't mean you will not gain a profit but if you will be so impatient, you will surely be disappointed because you may gain but bit is very small amount. That is why you need to be patient from the day that you started to invest in bitcoin so you can really see the good profit of it if you keep holding it for a long time.

Yes I think it's better to hold, the bitcoin price is stable at $8.2k and is likely to continue to increase. Now it's better to hold if you want to make a good profit. But if you want to sell it now, I think it does not matter, because the price is high, you would have profit if you sell it now.
