Has anyone dealt with another company outside of bitmain for purchasing miners? (bitcoin-miner-store.com) I'm trying to pick one up but don't know how reputable this site is.
Scam. Direct or bust except for a small number of acceptably reliable stores that you can buy from. Even those stores will sell miners at a considerable markup.

The D3 is interesting. Normally Bitmain owns the efficiency war, not looking that way this time if the product specs are to be believed from iBelink and Innosilicon.

bitmain owns the btc network 90% plus equip I'd bet plus their large pool

bitmain will likely soon own scrypt-pow network the same way...by kicking out units like toasters (bitmain: it's what we do!) (tm bimain evil)

bitmain now is trying the same play for the x11 miners (ie likely also out like toasters as well)

rinse/wash/repeat

Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

Bitmain is still trying to catch up in scrypt to the installed base of Innosilicon A2 units - they might get to 50% in another batch or two of L3+ units though, Innosilicon doesn't seem to be selling a ton of A4 miners due to the lower efficiency and despite the higher reliability since they got their firmware/software sorted out after the first 2 A4 batches.

It doesn't help Innosilicon any that they won't sell single units.

I'm no longer legendary just in my own mind!

Wow ibelinks sold out again, even after news of d3 and a5. Thought they take longer or not at all. Demand is there.

Its crazy that it sold out in less than a day. I'm sure it makes people who bought the ibelink for $7000 pisssssed. They could have bought two of these with some change to spare.  The A5 innosilicon looks interesting at 30 GHz. We will see what the pricing looks like.

Ibelink owners will reep the rewards before the difficulty bomb when the d3s/a5s are released. The more people who are turned off ibelinks price the less they are sold, better rewards for owners, but of course its possible resellers are mining away before their sold, but that would screw with their sell value. Who knows. All owners have to do is hold their coins, dont sell! evolution update due later this year too, so between that and difficulty increase the price of dash should go nuts

Is Dash the only altcoin mining option with the D3? It looks like the other X11 algorithm coins are too small to handle any sizeable increase in hashrate.

Well it doesn't matter how big the network is. The difficulty will increase and everyone will kinda make the same they make right now.

But you could always rent you hash out to a multipool like nice hash. They pay in BTC and you are kinda less volatile when it comes to rewards.

I'm really curious how much delay there will be between this first batch's shipping date and the next batch.

Was the D3 available again for a little while today? I wonder if it will go to the Hashnest? Do you think them mining for us is a good option?

With all this BTC and fork FUD/drama ...If I was them I'd not put them up for sale till sometime after August 1st when this all settles....

(of course saying that ...I'll miss today's sale) but anyway....what I'm expecting...

I monitor changes to Bitmain's website and see that they re-arranged some stuff, but I don't see any evidence that sales were re-opened today.
