•I have preordered Antminer D3, Payment method by bank •Should the bank account be in my name? I mean it can transfer funds to Bitmain account without importance if the bank account is mine or someone else?

Yes, it doesn't matter from how many bank accounts you pay you just have to include the reference number they gave you. The first L3+ I ordered was with bank transfer and because of capital controls I had to use 2 accounts.

Hi, i'm new to mining do you think it's worth it to buy at batch 4 for november delivery at 2'299$ price. I'm thinking of buying 10 of it and will have electricity for 2,8 cents kw/h at Giga Watt . Do you think I can get ROI in one year ? And after that how much time do you think I can run them and make profit ? https://www.gigawatt.sg/shop/dash-miners/antminer-d3-dash-miner-batch-4-november/

This seems really peculiar. Bitmain hasn't announced or released a "batch 4" for November, yet Gigawatt is selling them? That's ballsy to say the least. Furthermore, Gigawatt doesn't have any way of knowing they'll get the hundreds of D3s they're selling. Considering Bitmain's past disdain for Gigawatt, I highly doubt they would allow them access to pre-order before anyone else. I'd stay clear of this.

If ibelink buyers get their 22ghs upgrade kits soon or before october ( at a discount or possibly free for some) then they will have the fastest and most efficient miner even once the d3's are released and until the a5 even once the d3s are shipped, not sure how they did it but they got 3x as many of the same chips in the 22gh miner yet using same power usage.
well...in my case, I mined the LTC used....so this year...1/2 can go to the tax man ...or that same 1/2 can go to equip with an additional 25% due to 100% equip deduction in 1 year applied to taxes I owe..or know I'm gonna owe this year So the gamble was 25% more in $$$ on equipment...than just paying the IRS the 50% off what I mined in coin sucks...but that is how it is...so worse case I figure it is a wash Glad I was paranoid and only got the ONE though.... I also HOPE that bitmain will release a firmware update (like Baikal eventually did in the past) to do X13 and X15 coins. What the heck, probably won't happen, but would allow me to mine something, if when these miners destroy/pump/boom the X11 coins out there in the world. Anyway, still (in my case) I'll probably get by...but again...circumstances...I feel sad for those who may have bet the farm. Whenever bitmain REDUCES PRICE DRASTICALLY as they have done with product in the past..it usually means something else is dire in the crypto world but damn, even this one miner I got could be a 'doorstop' by December 2017 ..what an arms race! I don't get it mate. You still have to pay taxes on the coins you have bought stuff with tho? Like, if I buy BTC at 100$, and it rises to 200$. Then I buy something for those 200$, I still need to pay taxes on the 100$ gained. Its the same with mining, just a little more work calculating the cost of those coins you have mined.

Hmm, you can write off cost of purchases if you are not a business as well, costs of gear, hosting, electricity, internet ++ is basically the cost of coin. If I need to drive somewhere to restart a rig, thats a part of it too. Atleast thats how I calculate my average cost of coin, to be able to calculate how much is actual profits when I sell them. And then I pay 28% tax on the actual profits (Norway).

That's the way it should work, but most countries don't allow most deductions. France won't let me deduct anything without a SARL. A French limited liability company.

Anybody knows why DASH difficulty increased today from 400k at 9am to 800k at 1pm ? and return back to 600k at 2pm. How such big jumps possible? Sorry for that, I powered on my new sha/scrypt/x11 mobile phone that arives today from Bitmain ... Brilliant one !!!

It's somewhat more than 3 times the chips - which indicates they are running them at a MUCH lower voltage point for higher efficiency, at a cost in hash per chip. Think of the 11 Gh miner as a T9, the 22Gh one as a S9, but more so. They're going to have to drop the price some though (despite their additional costs) to stay competative - 22 Ghash for $6000 isn't going to sell many units.

Kinda makes me worried, its not like I've asked. Well I asked many years ago how to pay taxes on mining, still no answer. They came with guidelines this year, basically saying: "If you have sold bitcoins which you own, or have mined during the year, you should calculate profits or losses when selling bitcoins, and pay/deduct 28% tax on it" Thats it.

Looks like that was posted June 29th and the announcement of a Dash Labs which will focus on open source hardware ASIC's. So that is an interesting development. I wonder where they are in the development of that.
