Why did the mining profitability for DASH went down so much? Was this only about more hashpower added to the network and price drop or there was halvening or other coin adjustments involved?

Anyone had a situation where antminestarted blinking red and went offline?
I was controlling it remotely and tried to do the reboot from the antminer page, but nothing happened. I then tried to do the physical reboot by unplugging it from the wall and then powering it back on.
Now I cant access anything but the default page. Anyone had the same situation?
if you can login to the main dashboard, then flash your firmware or factory reset at least that the basic troubleshooting u can do.

Hello guys, Which pool are you mining currently and how profitable is it? I am switching between nicehash, prohashing and zpool (all multipools), but according to some graphs it seems on some days it's better to mine DASH directly. If so, where's the best place for that, do you have some site with profit comparison similar to http://poolpicker.eu/table?algo=x11 ? Latest 12 hours on nicehash: 0.0888 BTC/TH/day Latest 24 :0894 Nicehash have some issue with D3 for job summit, you will get period stale share check your kernel log. I prefer to use granatgas pool for multi coin mining on x11 algo, payout on DASH. Prohashing take to much fee and zpool steal 20%of your income regularly. Lately all the Switching pools have been regularly crashing and or going offline. Procrashing being the worst. They can't keep that pool running for more than 8 hours straight. Fucking disaster. GranatAss is down right now too. I wouldn't mine on Zpool with YOUR miner. Thieves. so what would u do? Go solo mining? Brother....I have to tell you. I have had a rock solid experience lately renting my hash at Nice Hash. It's very stable and very consistent. Until this shit storm starts to wane, I'm gonna keep to that strategy.

I think the D3 might be the perfect example to showcase what mining is and how the mining world is a dog eat dog world lol
People bought D3 even when everyone was saying don't and with prices of 20+ cents/kwh
In the end, it does not matter, does it? If your Marginal costs equal marginal profit, you sell and people with lower electricity will take them over.
Next time many people will hopefully do their homework first :/
In my case i just wanted to mention that mining has no use if power prices are higher. Then you better off buying strait from exchange, and if that is the case, then i prefer btc. I did my homework. Many people here are in the same boot (not only newby's). I was expecting some situation like the L3(+) and thought the D3 had better perspectief, NOT. If we did see this comming then we where not in this situation. At least the Belastingdienst is happy ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif)

But most people in here did not do their homework. Same goes for the L3+ I have seen people asking how much amp they will need or how loud they will be or or hot AFTER they bought 10-30 miners lol In that case they kinda deserve to fail. I lost batch 1 and 2 of the L3 because I was doing research first. It's tricky but I hope you got out somehow without a hugh loss

Profits went down cause people mine dash but get paid out in btc. This lowers dash price. If people got paid in dash and hold it price will go up. The hashrate from these new miners is too much for the x11 network , raising difficulty too much.

The network got slammed like a 2 $ hooker by a Metric shit ton of hashing power kid. THAT'S the reason.

Yup amp, heat and sound are the first limitations. Lucky for them there was enough time for delivery to relise this ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Biggest lose is the 3 months BTC value increase. Fore the rest i have to sit it out. Depending if my pre-buyer who did take 3 of the 4 still take them? But txs for carring ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

here we go, USD9.00 per day today... when all miner comes on board, we will see 3-4$ or less
RIP D3
OMG stfu wah wah wah it's still money you do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR no carrying heavy items (breaking your back) no answering emails etc. etc. go cry about it elsewhere.... It's not free money, the problem is the return on investment. We spent close to 2000$ us to get the machines (with shipping and duty). If the machine doesn't break, who knows when we'll get our money back? If the machine break, we're fudged. Also, after we've paid, it usually takes 1-2 months before we can get the machines. I only paid $1400 for the nov 21 batch, 1 yea roi lol assumining they last that long thank god i also grabbed six s9s at the $1300 price too S9 is still very profitable, sometimes more than L3+ With 10,000$ in sight for 2018, Bitmain will , as usual churn out more S9 yeah thats the only problem Bitmain keeps churning out S9s like hotcakes to thier private buyers

All it will take is a nice dash rush to bring these back up a bit. Dash has been on a slide since these came out.

It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

What's the odds that Bitmain will slow down production of these so that buyers can make some of their money back? It seems in their best interest for buyers to make some money back before flooding the market with more causing these to be unprofitable on arrival.

My first 9 have also finally shipped! took them long enough lol. I placed my PSU orders separately though..has anyone gotten any "november batch" psu's in or marked as shipped yet?

Halo Platform is one of the fastest Blockchains I've seen yet. They have FREE transactions. 250 Millisecond Block speeds. Smart contracts, Masternodes, blockchain games, and their own high speed DEX with BTC/ETH/USDC pairs. Similar to ETH, Waves, EOS, and more yet with only $1 million mcap. This video showcases the speed and reliability of the blockchain using the DEX, Masternodes (that will soon payout in BTC and ETH), blockchain games, and more! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g74d3ixX7E8&feature=youtu.be

Hi, I am still waiting for the PSU APW3++, D3 arrived three days ago. Someone has test the power consumption of 19.3 units (Nov.01-15 batch), is possible to underclock to reduce the power consumption? Which is the best frequency for low consumption / high stable hashing? Thanks in advance W_M
