nope, bitmain is not allowing it anymore to avoid scalpers like you.

I dont know what a scalper is, but i did ask Bitmain also the same question. Not possible. I did know the awnser because they said so when i bought. But i tried.

Hi everybody,

I have two prepaid BITMAIN D3 orders for shipping 1st half of november - will sell for a very small negotiable premium, I paid 1499 USD a piece plus 210 USD per power supply and 373.92 USD for shipping with UPS (am sure we can change delivery address).

Pls PM me if interested  Smiley
You paid 210 for a PSU that costs 105 and you paid UPS shipping of 373.92 when it only costs 71.00? Man bud, you got butt slammed.

You only live once....if you do it right, once is enough.

About Bitmain, they are leade in the crypto market hardware. I can not record they put a non ROI product on the market. There derive statistics are very close to reality. It looks they mis out on x11, but we have not the statics (like algoritme, pretty scarry for me neo  Cool). X11 will make ROI also i think beside the danger of 10nm closing in.

I've decided to sell my D3, my GF is keeping hers

If anyone's interested

Would prefer to deal with BTCtalk members but it's also on eBay w/ 24 hours as I imagine that is the best market to sell these in currently

You not afraid to sell on eBay? I read stories about people returning miners after mining for a few months.
It's not the most appealing idea, but I take every precaution I can to not be screwed by buyers. I'll be taking a lot of documentation to ensure I can't be a victim of buyer fraud. Offer is also still up for someone to swoop in and buy it outside of eBay -- I accept crypto ofc Cheesy

After months they can't. I had an asshole trying to return an L3+ 65 days after receiving it. Even though I clearly stated no returns due to the nature of the product. He cannot do anything after 60 days because he can't even leave any feedback after that. It's still a bit scary though if someone tries it after a month.

I have had an S9 returned right after the buyer received it.  Bitched that it was too noisy, he returned it, I checked it out (it was all OK) and resold it.  I also make little marks on the hash boards and take pictures of everything in case they try swapping boards.

So if you state "no returns" can eBay still force you to take it back?

This answer kind of varies, the correct answer is no ..  but some people get scammed (sellers) unfortunately

Then he opened a case on paypal i sent paypal the screenshots of him admitting it worked when he received it and he told paypal it was not working when he received it he straight up lied! And paypal said that the screenshot of him admitting it worked when he received it is not proof!!! This guy is a lying piece of shit! Im so pissed about it!!

Actually the answer is yes they can force you to take it back as long as the buyer is smart enough to figure out how to be a scumbag

Yea he said it was broken i told him it still had a 30 day warranty with baikal and he said he didnt want to "deal" with china and now it is my problem. He originally wanted to pick the miner up in person and pay me with paypal (then claim item mot received i assume) told him he could pay cash and pick it up but he refused hes basically just a scam artist POS

Maybe almost every  pre paid miner that people are waiting  for to be delivered  is mining right now, hence the difficulty increase more then expected not saying all but some would definitely be doing this to milk maximum profit before shipping. If this is true it may be a good thing as future batch shipments won't impact the difficulty as much. Also new x11 coins like helium will hopefully spread the hash rate around. Maybe digibyte will add x11 to its list of supported algos , who knows. It's still possible that some people may regret selling their d3s too soon or selling them now at ever decreasing prices. The evolution  dash updates due soon,  that should help with the dash price.
