Bitcoin as a course or any related currency on web.
In my country we have multiple courses in computer especially programing and web developments. My course is also information technology, but i've never heard or learn about online currency as bitcoin. In present, and future studies is there any chances for inserting about it in education. In your country is it available?
It would be better for any country to adopt bitcoin in educating new generations. Instead of playing games and wasting money in surfing xxx sites.

I think the main reason why Bitcoin is not even tackled in your course is that cryptocurrency in not widely acceptable yet. They are not yet considered as a legitimate currency that can run side by side with its counterpart. But it will be a good idea if cryptocurrency will be included in the curriculum considering the technology behind it. Blockchain and how it works is a great example of what can be taught. If they can't consider cryptocurrency as a currency at least have some attention in its technology specially for computer courses that can greatly benefit from it.

It would be a great idea if the government will support it, although there are countries that already legalized it as a currency. If the curriculum of the higher education would be in the hands of its professors, you would hear new ideas being spread more often. Its not that in todays world the professors are one of the most creative people in the world.

Of course it will be legalized soon and i think other countries doesn't recognize it that much because it doesn't give them a profit i guess.Bitcoin is only used by some. If only bitcoin is in general use in my country and the legality of bitcoin is acknowledged. Maybe the idea that you said might happen in my country. It may be time to make it.

In China, bitcoin has not been legalized yet. So I think it is not possible to include bitcoin in the formal course right now. Relative to those around me, there are not many people who know bitcoin, let alone understand it. Of course, I do not think Bitcoin is a negative thing, but it needs a long process to be accepted by more people.

Be happy with what you have learned, because in my country even people who are into the IT industry is not aware about the digital currency and the way the technology is functioning in an effective manner. Especially because it evolves too quickly for a curriculum to keep up. A textbook written even just a year ago would not be of much help, in current day cryptoland.

For me bitcoin isnt for a stand alone subject. It may be discussed in business classes or programming subjects. Just a subject of a subject. If you get my point. And for people who really want to learn i think seminars are perfect for bitcoin. There they can teach and discuss bitcoin and teach trading.

I guess that's a rather tough thing to do. It will take a long time and a lot of considerations to makw it happen.

In my own point of view, teaching the students in college about crypto is good thing since it will provide a sufficient knowledge about bitcoin which they can used to earn income even though they are students and be more independent as well.

What exactly is the question? Bitcoin is considered a commodity and taught a few very small areas. There is no reason to teach anyone about it if they want to learn about after themselves. That is like why you asking they're not class about window making. Because it is a small isolated community and no one needs to learn about it the overall scheme of things.

Bitcoin college for students has been increasingly widespread, can be used as a means of payment. In New York, USA, accepts payments in Bitcoin virtual currency.
Students do not just pay tuition only with bitcoin, donations, and other expenses can be with Bitcoin.

I agree on this. Not all subjects that are taught in college are resourceful in our everyday life. Bitcoin will be a very handy tool in our life. Thumbs up to this

Bitcoin is a unique new system, the presence of bitcoin becomes a very interesting thing to learn and the right thing if the college gives a special lesson about bitcoin. by knowing bitcoin earlier then students will be ready to receive bitcoin in the future.

I think there are still no bitcoin course here in our country right now, and it would be great if there is going to have one in the near future, but it is too good to be true right now since the Government is too busy on resolving many issues on their designated countries, like for example is the war in their nations, or the war against other country and other stuffs that is not connected on bitcoin, and most of them don't care about this cryptocurrency since what they all know is fiat.
I agree , I think it is a great idea also to include bitcoin in a school curriculum so thay students at an early age will know how earn extra income to help them.for their studies. But one thing I am.worried of. Maybe they will get so excited to earn and they will miss their otber subjects just to continue doing bitcoins. Aside from that it is all fine for me.

But there is no relevant professional teacher to teach bitcoin related knowledge, after all, really know bitcoin expertise is not much.

Maybe it's a good suggestion to teach bitcoin teaching in college. This is because college students do not have to bind the stomach to eat because of paying college fees. It also allows college students to find financial resources without disturbing their parents for payment of their college fees.

Yes I agree. Teaching bitcoin in college would help many students have awareness and better understanding about bitcoin and it might be one of the source  of their financial needs even at young ages.
