Bitcoin as a course or any related currency on web.
In my country we have multiple courses in computer especially programing and web developments. My course is also information technology, but i've never heard or learn about online currency as bitcoin. In present, and future studies is there any chances for inserting about it in education. In your country is it available?
It would be better for any country to adopt bitcoin in educating new generations. Instead of playing games and wasting money in surfing xxx sites.

This is a good idea. Crypto currencies are good topics as part of economics subject. This to educate students for future use in economic growth. This can improve our economy and lessen unemployment.

i think Bitcoin will be tackled on a college subject that is about economy, specifically in a topic that discusses money and the monetary system. Though not all will discuss more deeper about Bitcoin, maybe it will just be mentioned at some point.

if pointing bitcoin to college students would be good for the bitcoin economy because it would be much more encouraging to invest in bitcoin if bitcoin is widespread in schools and increased investor and user profits.

I guess introducing bitcoin as course on college is impossible unless it is being legalized on a country because as long as it is not legal , ofcourse the education departments will not allow this matter to be taught in school because as what we know it is still illegal. But I think if this being legalized , it was a good thing if this will be one course on college because it will have an effect to our economy and economy is a very important and serious matter in a state.

Cryptocurrencies are a very new topic for the education system and not every country has till now I dropped it Bitcoin or any other altcoin so I don't think that we can see Bitcoin-related education soon on the colleges. But I have heard that some colleges have started teaching about cryptocurrencies but they are very few right now I am looking forward to it I hope my kids can learn more advanced stuff then I have learned right now.

I think bitcoink are tackled in college example the subject is economic or enterprises that will discuss about money, the teacher can tackled about it because, today's generation all discussion is being used in technology and the teacher will explain if the student didn't know and understand the discussion...

Bitcoin is really good thing to teach in college schools so that even in young age they will have the proper knowledge about it and it can lead to the advancement of technology throughout a nation because if many people learns, many people will try and many people will strive to get one and advance. This is a good thing to advertised bitcoin, through education.

I am sure that soon we can see many learning institutions to include the subjects of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology into their curriculum. Blockchain technology is representing a revolution and soon this revolution can go down to the application level where even schools can take advantage of.

In our country, bitcoins are not yet being studied in college, but I think that it would be a wonderful idea for people to be more educated in the world of modern currency. Modern crypto market requires professionals in this sector.

If I'm not mistaken, in the US there are some courses that are offered which give some intro into cryptocurrencies; but it doesn't really make sense to me why you would want to pay big money to some college to teach you the basics of Bitcoin.  Everything about Bitcoin is "google-able" and you will probably find out a whole lot more by asking questions to people on forums like these or Bitcoin's stack exchange forum.

It just seems dumb to "make a job" out of this.  To me this is/should be more of a hobby type of thing.

I am sure that in the coming months, Bitcoin can be a part of the discussions in many classrooms. Now, instead of focusing more on Bitcoin, what should be discussed is the technology behind Bitcoin which we all know is Blockchain Technology. I think that is the game changer of this whole thing and it can be applied in so many industries and can even be applied in schools.

It'll be a rare sight, although some schools would allow this on a project you might get mislead as to whether the information came up with is even relevant to popular demand or to become outdated.

The age is too new to see on class material, in fact too far as to whether it will be the same 10-1000 years from now besides price increases.

It was a good idea for every college schools to implement the study of block chain because in this way they are going to know how the system works and how the cryptocurrency will be helpful in this new era of mankind.

Anything that is worth any real credits in college has a long enough history to back it up. I'm not talking extra courses here but real ones for business or Computer science. It'll be a while for major American colleges to offer it towards degrees.
