In addition, required ZenCash for staking is 500 ZEN, which makes it reachable for ZenCash investors.
I think sidechain and its big potential will contribute catching more attention of potential investors and more flows of money into the ZenCash project.

Is side chain supported by super nodes only?

Super Nodes will be more powerful than Secure Nodes and will be tasked with managing key network and system functions such as hosting multiple services on sidechains, tracking and measuring Secure Node uptime, and queuing the node payment schedule for miners.

The two major improvements Super Nodes bring are to transition tracking and payments on-chain, or within protocol, a major change from the current system where such functions are executed on external server clusters; and the introduction of sidechaining elevates the ZenCash system from a pure cryptocurrency to a platform on which an unbounded set of services can be built. The value proposition of the system then becomes more than the utility of the currency, but now includes the utility of all future services that will be layered onto our infrastructure. A small sampling of such services which are already in planning include a distributed file storage system (ZenPub), a secure messaging system (ZenChat), a computation-for-rent system akin to AWS’s Lambda Functions (ZenGrid), zero-delay payments (InstantZen), and a decentralized exchange (ZenXchange) with a fully-collateralized price-stable asset called ZenUSD (USDZ).

Anyway for those who cannot afford Super Node much cheaper option are Secure Nodes.

Any advice on my investment in ZEN? I have searched many news sites for reviews but they talk about the potential but do not give out details of the project. Personally I like this investment because I like its name and the supply of ZEN very little, which may make ZEN good price in the future.

I'm thinking of getting one of Ledger Blue with firmware 2.1. On their blog post, it says 'developer needs to create a specific Ledger Blue version of the app'. Are the ZenCash team thinking of implementing app for Ledger Blue?

By the way, it's a very good idea to add Ledger to your wallet! This would add to the weight of the coin, since there are a number of investors for whom the possibility of storing coins in similar hardware wallets - this is critical!

zencash can be used on a nano s ledger

yeah, I'm using Nano S to store my ZEN right now. I was wondering if app for Blue will be developed or not. I got a word from one of the admin, that it will likely to be implemented.

If I am correct you can't use the Ledger Blue with Zencash. But you can with the Ledger Nano S and the specific app for zencash

 Ledger they would handle the Blue firmware,  but need confirmation. Stay tuned.

Zencash has more ambitions than Zcash and is not only focusing on a cryptocurrency with other products (zenhide,..)
And the community isn't the same as well, I find the Zencash community more friendly

Actually there are plans, but there are no precise date for this and other applications on our future platform..Also there are no boundaries for creativity. But lets wait to switch to this platform first.
