Another thing that also has to be considered are taxes and customs fees. Most of the shipments to EU should be taxed. And if you add customs fee, sometimes the products from China are not much cheaper.

Ambitious project. How is 80% - 90% going to be achievable on premium products? Plus an image recognition neural network by 2018? Google has been trying to perfect this for years. But, this kind of project is what blazes the trail for forward progress in this crazy technological world we live in. Way to go. I just hope you haven't set the bar too high for yourselves.

The image recognition neural network algorithm is not that impossible to developp, a lot of other than google has developp one and it work well, but at different kind of level, more or less functional. And for the price Snapup team has explain a lot in vlogs or during the live, you can find information in the white paper. Its based on a new economic model, so the first time you see 90% less price for premium product it's a bit hard to trust I know. But they manage to create a system how make this possible !

Good thing to come around at the right time since everybody had been taken advantage of in the past 6 months with the high marketplace transaction fees even taking their cut into this.

Dont know if its hard to develop but if they can do this they must do some extra markating about this. People would love this. You take a picture in a store and Snapup will recognize this. So awesome! Check out there Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCftxx2X6RcyXshjivYsMOaQ

I love that the youtube channel is so active and the team is posting many vlogs about the different aspects of the product. While i still have to be convinced to invest myself, the concept really appeals to me and the team shows promise.

The Name snapup reminds me a little bit on snapchat (; ...and its also the same target group. Did you think about that? And what was your conclusion, is it good or more a disadvantage ?
I think that name has been chosen very properly. It is remanding you something what you know but still it is enough different and it is catchy.

I've read through the whitepaper, I also have tested image recog. algos. I guess I am just a skeptic through and through. I like that this team is so sure of themselves. Sometimes, a research team comes out of nowhere and solves problems that giants like Google have been throwing billions at essentially missing obvious, even simple solutions. I wish this team the best and I am in their corner. Who wouldn't want 80% off anything? I'd be happy with 25% off some VR Gear or some Jordan's. Right?

Look at Purse.io they let you buy stuff from Amazon with BTC and you can get huge discounts, sometimes 50% or more off depending on what the item is. Ithink there is room for a servvice like Snap-Up to look at saving people money/bitcoin It will be great to try and use! I myself use things like Raise.com where you can buy giftcards at a discount, Ihave saved 10% to 20% on stuff and its nice

I thought of the same reading about this project for the first time. It is a stony way to go indeed, but only the diligent will be rewarded. If they stick to their plan and let the project grow naturally, it could turn out as right decision to be part of it from the very beginning.

I have seen some constructive criticism, but also some without any reason speaking badly of the project, I read the Whitepaper and clearly understood the objectives of the project, which alias will revolutionize not only how to buy with quality and efficiency, but also the possibility of future use in purchases Of physical stores of future partners. I believe in success and expansion;)
