How long does it take for the difficulty to re-target? The Diff has been 11.5ish since early yesterday when the network has was 3+ GH... we are now at 1.6 GH and have been for the past 12 hrs. CNC's has yet to retarget and its hash fell off of the world over a week ago, wasn't WDC supposed to have licked that problem with short re-target times?  showing diff dropped to 6.9 on coinchoose.com So much for suffering the same fate as FTC and CNC when the miners shift away eh? Very good sign for WDC that it didn't have to sit in limbo for weeks waiting for the difficulty to drop. ok, finally changed on my pool as well. Was starting to worry a bit but the hash needs to stabilize some and BTC-E to pick it up. |

I really like this coin. I sent some from my wallet to the exchange and was trading within 5 mins. Bitcoin is slow and I think we might see the time in the near future where it is fazed out, though it will always be THE coin that started it all. And for that reason alone, bitcoin will always have some value, but the days of $100+ per bitcoin I believe are well over. |

I really like this coin. I sent some from my wallet to the exchange and was trading within 5 mins. Bitcoin is slow and I think we might see the time in the near future where it is fazed out, though it will always be THE coin that started it all. And for that reason alone, bitcoin will always have some value, but the days of $100+ per bitcoin I believe are well over. for me the 2 new coins im playing with and supporting are WDC and JKC i like them both but somehow iv worked into my devotion to WDC than JKC, i dont think bitcoin is going to die anytime soon. its probably going to be a slow decline but that said bitcoin is still going up on exchanges 115.5 on BTC-e at the moment and still climbing |

Yes I like the two also. WDC is going well despite some early dump in the exchange. It is normal for all coins, people will take some profits. But I think it is to stay, with faster transaction if it finds more acceptance, it will be great.
JKC is turning around slowly, with new leader and new logo, it looks great. Also with low diff at this time, it will really take off with more adoptions.

I really think all of these developers should sit down and talk, they really could do some good working together on a single coin vs all of these competing coins. In no way saying that coin must be worldcoin btw, any would do. |

The difficulty re-targeted nicely back to 6.9 after the flash crowd left, and that has put WDC back up the top of the mining profitability charts. The price is still way too low on Bter.com for a coin that's working so well. That will be the flash crowd selling like noobs.
