Worldcoin vs. Digitalcoin?

Didn't Worldcoin come out before Digitalcoin?  They appear to be very similar, aren't they?  They also are both right at the top of the mining profitability chart.  I think how it allows for fast transactions does add something to the coin (compared to LTC and BTC).  I wonder though, why there are these 2 coins that are similar.  Is one going to end up becoming more dominant and killing off the other?  They both can't live forever I wouldn't think.  Anyway I'm pulling for Worldcoin!

EDIT: ON coinchoose, digitalcoin dropping like a rock now, WDC going strong!  Good job everyone

WDC was first

WDC is faster (15 second blocks for WDC compared with 20 second blocks for Digital Coin). Digital coin is just a slower version of WDC with less community support. It will go through the typical pump and dump phase and end up lower than WDC.

How about a bet 2000 DGC for 2000WDC.  Set a date and which ever one is higher on the exchange wins.

Put your coins where your mouth is.   Grin

Due to the success of my DGC P2Pool, I am experimenting with a new WDC pool.  Fee will be 0% for now!  Would appreciate if some miners could hit it to help me test

Pool address is http://107.20.187.147:9500

This is a dedicated server with capacity for up to 400 mh/s so should stay up continuously

cgminer instructions:

cgminer --scrypt -o http://107.20.187.147:9500 -u YOURWDCADDRESS+0.00116414 -p x --queue 0

pool will pay out miners immediately when each block is found.  Rewards will increase slightly over time for dedicated miners

The +0.00116414 can be changed to a desired level of difficulty.  That rate is good for two 7970's.  For CPU or fewer GPU's, make that number proportionally smaller so that the server will dish out appropriately difficult work shares

WDC is taking a nose dive right now and is worth less then DGC

Nope, still 20% more profitable then DGC...I swear, how hard is it to open a fucking website, to confirm the shit, before it spews from your mouth?

WDC should be worth less than DGC as there are way more produced. However both coins are fetching a crap price on Cryptsy atm, this seems to be the fate of all the new coins this month.

What crash? WDC hasn't been on the exchanges long enough to have a crash, it's still finding it's first stable level. Secondly how can it not survive, the exchange rate to BTC doesn't determine the success or failure of a coin, only it's relative price.
