Why nearly all miners think only about himself with a timeframe of 10 seconds? Don't you see a little longer in the future? If we want this coin to grow we must act as a community, protecting the coin and helping growing it up. Here is my personal list of things to do to support WDC and help it to not fail (it's our interest, right?): - Don't dump your mined coin immediately, if you're smart and believe in this coin you have to mine and don't waste WDC you generate at lower and lower prices. If we'll work well then, in months, WDC will maybe be exchanged at a much higher value. Then you can begin selling them, not all togheter.
Think about first people who believed in bitcoin and mined more than a bitcoin a day... If they sold them immediately like you're doing now... Miner that had a believe in bitcoin now are nearly rich! - WDC must be used for real world transactions, if this will not be true in the near future the coin will be dead. It must have a real value. Now all people mine and sell WDC for BTC, this is what will get the price to drop. All who can help (developers!) are welcome to build smartphone apps and all kind of software that can help real world operation with this coin.
- Set a donation to pool operator, expecially when it ha 0% fee like worldcoinpool.com (pool operators work much and have expenses.... Who likes to work for nothing???). Donating we are supporting their work
and chances that they continue doing it is higher
Let's grow WorldCoin! Don't sell all WDC you're generating! Or if you do set a high price... Miners only mine and dump as fast as they can. And world is dominated by monkeys. If only inteligent and proffesional people mine, then you will find that they can wait 2 or 3 month to dump, for a x2 or x3 current market value. But 50% of people is below IQ 100, so, what do you expected?

Let's grow WorldCoin! Don't sell all WDC you're generating! Or if you do set a high price... This is great in theory, however Im going to have to break down the reality of what's going on and why it will continue. ~184k WDC are produced every 24 hours, a majority of which are being immediately dumped for whatever the current price is on the exchange. Without enough investor interest to buy up those coins made each day, you will have a continuous fall in price. As the price continues to fall, more and more miners will immediately dump rather than hold onto something losing value. It's unfortunately a snowball effect from there, Id be very surprised if this coin survived but I do wish it luck.

Just saying.... WDC has a block time of 15s and a reward of 32. So in 24 hours, 184,320 coins are added. DGC has a block time of 20s and a reward of 20. So in 24 hours, 86,400 coins are added.
Now DGC had a fair launch. (Block rewards start off lower and slowly rise to the value they are now) While WDC had a normal launch. (Initial miners get huge rewards)
WDC had a lot more coins when it was at the block that DGC is now. WDC has a lot more coins right now compared to DGC and it's supply growing much faster than DGC.
Just looking at supply (and future supply) , DGC clearly has the upper advantage. Only a matter of time until demand catches up.
The best part though is WDC still has a higher hash rate, secondly given the fact that it has about 8X more coins it's still more valuable than DGC lol. Whereas given to supply and demand DGC should be about 8X more in price. Do you see LTC at 1/4 BTC? I guess LTC is also shit then, right?

This is the first Alt coin (apart from LTC) that I have followed. The network hash is way down, price way down. Is WDC dead?

You should research yourself and come to your own conclusion. hmmm i'm not sure what will happen with this one, i think price will rise from where it is now, but to how much who knows, it seems still profitable to mine and dump even at this price, so maybe the diff cal needs to be slightly altered somehow or maybe it will go through a few cycles and then start to balance out. Need demand for this coin, they are stating a community and they need to get some devs to make reasons to have this coin. IE games that only accept wdc or some other use ful apps you can buy the wdc.
